Who we are?
Based on the experience acquired in the area of communications we decided to create a
company of electronics with our goal of providing everyday technology solutions and new
designs in the systems of cable television, internet and telephone, including the equipments
of the head ends, hybrid network and the de-codifiers.
We are located strategically in the South Florida, Miami area.
Our company counts with more than ten years of experience in the design, programming
and evolvement of electronic equipment implicated in the area of telecommunications.
In the course of the years innovated diverse solutions had been applied in a very successful
form to much telecommunication equipment in diverse areas of electrical digital and analogical.
Nowadays we have been certified by the company Cisco in codification television systems
by analog cable. We have clients in different branches of the electronic and geographic
localization like United States and several countries in Latin-America.
Our Company also provides with a laboratory of highly qualify engineers and technicians
accompanied by instruments and computer software. Dedicated to prove, design and generate
technical solutions according to the needs of our customers.
We are able to design Network project that use fiber optic technology including all necessary
equipments to complete such projects.

The Agile Modulator NTX-AG5500 is equipped with the latest CATV electronic technology, including crystals
simultaneous PLL vibration circuit, SAW filter, trace filter, CPU control. NTX-AG5500 is high quality, vestigial
sideband equipment synthesized with audio and video carriers.
NTX-AG5500 uses audio and video base band signals coming from satellite receiver.
Its receiving video input level is 0.5Vp-p~1.5Vp-p.
The channel number is displayed by Seven Segment on front panel.

• Double digital PLL, CPU control.
• Output RF modulation frequency is adjustable in the range of 48~550MHz.
• Preset standard channels enable to select any channel at discretion.

Description:
The Agile Modulator (NTX-8700) is equipped with the latest CATV electronic technology, including crystals
simultaneous PLL vibration circuit, triple SAW synthesized IF circuit, trace filter, CPU control.
NTX-8700 is high quality, vestigial sideband equipment synthesized with audio and video carriers.
NTX-8700 uses audio and video baseband signals coming from video recorder, video camera, or similar equipment
as signal source.
Its receiving video input level is 0.5Vp-p~1.5Vp-p.
Working parameters and status are displayed by LCD on front panel, such as output channel, output frequency, A/V
ratio, video modulation depth, audio deviation, audio carrier, output level, test signal.
The parameters are selectable by pressing the buttons on the panel.

performance design principle.

The new DSR-4402X IRD from Motorola brings the latest technology advances from the recognized leader in
satellite program delivery. Building on the DigiCipher® II platform, the DSR-4402X IRD is affordable and easy

Optical Transmitter 1550nm
Description:
With the development of DTV, VOD, Triple-play and FTTx, the information volume of CATV network is increasing
rapidly, and bandwidth of 47~862MHz in central station will not be able to satisfy the requirement of single
subscriber. In order to provide more interactive service capacity for subscribers, the second-grade service area
has to be built in sub-station (second-grade network). In sub-station, the optical signal down-loaded from the
central station will be converted into RF signal, then FDM (frequency division multiplexing) with marginal server
of the sub-station, it will serve the subscribers in second-grade area through 1550nm Optical transmitter, EDFA
and optical splitters. Radius of the area are generally 20km~40km.
How to select 1550nm optical transmitter for second-grade service area is always a difficulty. Take technical
feature and long-term development of the network into consideration, we should select 1550nm Externally
Modulated optical transmitter, however, such transmitter with reasonable price which can be suitable for
Second-grade service area is unavailable in the current market. Considering the traditional cost, 1550nm
Internal Modulated optical transmitter will be selected to have a test.
Internal Modulated will generate serious laser chip effect (bias current of the laser will be modulated by signal,
optical spectrum will shift and shake). Chip effect will interact with dispersion of standard single fiber 1550nm
window, which causes serious distortion (CNR deterioration). The distortion will be more serious with the
increasing of transmission distance, bandwidth and number of channels. For many years, we have developed a
lot of research and experiments in chip compensation of Internal Modulated, but do not have any breakthrough
yet. The most advanced 1550nm Internally Modulated optical transmitter in the world can only transmit the
signal for 15Km with CSO ≤ -57dB in the bandwidth of 600MHz, while its price is very expensive. But CSO ≤ -57dB
is the lowest threshold for end subscribers.
Therefore, the current 1550nm Internal Modulated optical transmitter cannot meet the technical requirements of
the developing networking of second-grade service area.
We are the well-known manufacture in analog externally modulated optical transmitter in the world. NTX8510, a
kind of low cost 1550nm Externally Modulated Optical transmitter, is specially designed for networking
application of second-grade service area. It is named as NTX8510 second-grade service area 1550nm
Externally Modulated Optical Transmitter.
NTX8510 series Externally Modulated CATV transmitter adopts low noise, narrow bandwidth, and continuous
wave laser DFB laser as its light source and adopts low cost single-output LiNbO3 external modulator that is
specially designed by JDS-U to modulate signal , which reduce the cost of the transmitter largely. Based on a
series of characterized optimization and technical innovation, it can reach excellent system index with
flatness ≤ 0.75dB in-band 47~862MHz, 13dBm SBS, point to point >50Km, (0dBm receiving) CSO ≤ -65dB,
CTB ≤ -65dB, CNR ≥ 52dB. The whole unit is equipped with perfect RS232 communication interface, SNMP
network management, 1+1 back-up power supply, and casing temperature auto-control.
All the optical port can be installed in the front panel (The back panel is also available if needed).
NTX8510 second-grade service area 1550nm Externally Modulated Optical Transmitter, with its high index, high
reliability and outstanding P/P ratio, is an ideal choice for second-grade service area.
NTX8510C: single output, operation wavelength 1547~1564nm, laser linearity width 1MHz, SBS: 13dBm.
NTX8510U: single output, ITU standard wavelength adjustable. Through LCD menu and the button on the front
panel, laser wavelength can be set and adjusted with ±0.05nm stepping in the range of ±200GHz (±1.6nm).
It is applied for upgrading and expansion of WDM networking.

NTX5100 series C-Band booster amplifier, is designed for the application of single channel or 1~8 continuous
ribbon channels (ITU wavelength).
Generally, fiber CATV system operates in single wavelength that has no strict requirement on gain flatness.
NTX5100 booster amplifier is featured with low NF, high-saturated output power. It is applicable for central
bureau, sub-bureau and line relay, as well as other optical communication network. NTX5100 is applied most
commonly and widely compared with other EDFA in CATV system.

Transceiver
● The media Converter supports MDI/MDI-X auto crossover. This facilitates the use of either a straight connection
CAT-5 cable or crossover CAT-5 cable.
The auto-sense function will detect remote transmit and receive pairs, and correctly assign the transmit and
receive pairs from the Media Converter.
● Fiber Port is always set to full duplex mode.
● UTP port is auto-negotiation mode. Auto-negotiation allows UTP link partners to select the best common
mode of operation.
● WDM Single Fiber Model
The Single Fiber converter specially designed with an optic Wavelength Division Multiplexing (VDM) model
that transport bi-directional full duplex signal over a single fiber simultaneously.
Single Fiber Model TX, RX Wavelength:
The Converter-1(A) Single-Mode 20/40/60Km models are option TX(Transmit) 1310nm, RX (Receive)1550nm
The Converter-2(B) Single-Mode 20/40/60Km models are option TX(Transmit) 1550nm, RX (Receive)1310nm.
● Link Fault Pass-Trough
Link status on one port is propagated to the other port to notify remote nodes. If the TP is unplugged, the
converter stops transmitting over the fiber port, causing the remote fiber link node to fail. The LED will
show link failure on both the TP and fiber ports.
● Switch mode and Converter mode
Switch mode is store and forward switch mode. Converter mode is the incoming frames should be not
buffered in Ip113 to achieve the min latency. Both TP port and Fiber port should work at 100M full duplex in
this mode.

With the development and construction of HFC, traditional broadcast distributive CATV network is changing
into bi-directional cross network.
Passive fiber network and passive coaxial cable is the main mode of HFC network instruction, aiming at
establishing a wideband multi-media communication platform which can provide kinds of information for
local areas.
HFC development trend is that fiber is extending to more subscribers, optic nodes service semi-diameter
becomes shorter, and bi-directional users is increasing.
Reliability and service quality is also improving.
Multi-channel high level output:
Neurotronix NTX-9940 has dependent four ports high level output. 59channel NTSC, output level
9940A>108dBμV, 9940B>111dBμV◦ Passive cable distributive network has such requirements in order to
distribute to subscribers directly, cover large areas.
Without afterward amplifier, they can still reduce reverse channel noise and interfere funnel effect.
Reliability:
• Power-supply standby: NTX-9940 can have two efficient switch power-supply, once one of them is out of
operation, it can switch into the other within the time <0.15s◦
• Optic standby: 9940can have two (four) optic receiving modules, that can receive optic signals from
different channels. If one signal of them is defected, controlled RF detector can switch into another signal
.9940 can have four return path transmitter module therefore there can be two routes return path
transmitter modules standby.
• RF standby: during HFC network reconstruction , we can keep the former cable network, then add A/B switch
RF main board, so when the optic cable is broken, it will be automatically switch into cable network.
Flexibility: (assemble, gradable)
HFC network‘s trend is bi-directional cross network. As a 1GHz communication platform, all of the functional
parts and components of NTX 9940 is insert instruction, at the early period; it can be installed simply with
basic function, with the increasing of demands, new functions can be added by inserting modules.

Scrambler
Description:
The Model 8656 Scrambler provides dynamic switched sync suppression, video and sync inversion, and
dropfield scrambling. These scrambling modes can be configured for any individual mode or a combination
using up to ten pre-defined dynamic modes. The scrambler is compatible with all existing Scientific-Atlanta
addressable and non-addressable home terminals. In addition, the scrambler is compatible in Jerrold, Zenith,
Hamlin, Eagle, Tocom, and Pioneer scrambling systems.
The scrambler transmits conditional access information to the 8600X advanced analog HCT using the vertical
blanking interval (VBI) of the video channel. The 8600X HCT transactions are received by the scrambler at
a rate of 153.6 kbps from the Model 8658 Headend Controller (HEC). The scrambler supports up to ten lines
for VBI data transmission at a rate of 59 transactions per second on a single VBI line. This provides a total
throughput of 590 transactions per second on a single channel. Descrambling information is also transmitted
in the VBI. Descrambling transactions for the 8600X HCT are encrypted using a random seed generator and
unique session keys.
The scrambler transmits conditional access information to the Model 8600 and Model 8590 as AM pulses
modulated on the audio carrier of various channels in the headend. The data are interleaved with descrambling
information, providing a higher degree of security. The Model 8656 is used to store and transmit message
data for the 8600X HCT and Model 8600 Home Terminal. In addition, the scrambler provides data delivery
for the interactive viewing guide and virtual channels to the 8600X HCT.
The unit is housed in a standard 19-inch rack adaptable chassis and fits any EIA-standard 24-inch rack.

EASY FOR SUBSCRIBERS Self-Revealing Navigation Simplifies Subscriber Interaction
When subscribers press the menu key, the 8610 addressable home terminal displays a self-revealing main
menu. The arrow key enables subscribers to easily navigate through menu choices that apply only to the level
of service and options to which they subscribed. Subscribers can employ either the remote control or the
keypad on the home terminal.

Automatic Pay-Per-View Event Confirmation
The Model 8610 Addressable home terminal lists those pay-per-view events and movies for which subscribers are
authorized, reducing unnecessary telephone calls to cable operators to confirm pay-per-view orders. When
subscribers select this option, authorized events are listed by channel, event number, and event description.
A description of up to 24-characters long can be downloaded from the pay-per-view schedule through the
billing system.
Identify Cable-Exclusive Programming With Channel Names
Whenever subscribers change channels or press the Display key on the remote control, the home terminal
indicates the channel number, the current time (in 12-hour or 24-hour format), and the program ID. This information
is automatically downloaded from the headend to each home terminal to reflect changes in channel lineups and
the correct time even after power outages.
The program ID instantly differentiates cable-exclusive channels from broadcast channels, increasing subscribers’
awareness of the range of programming services offered. Displaying the program ID also makes it easier for
subscribers to navigate cable systems with large numbers of channels.
Mute and Volume Control Display
The 8610 Addressable home terminal presents an intuitively clear graphic display of relative volume level and
mute, virtually eliminating subscribers’ confusion over volume settings.
When the optimum volume level for BTSC stereo separation is reached, “best stereo” is displayed on the
television monitor. “Mute” is displayed when the Mute key is pressed, reducing subscribers’ unnecessary
telephone calls concerning lack of volume.
OTHER FEATURES SUBSCRIBERS VALUE
• An 8-event, 14-day program timer facilitates unattended VCR recording of premium programming.
• The optional factory-integrated IPPV option provides the subscriber with easy, one-touch purchasing of

Other On-Screen Channel Barkers
On-screen channel barkers solve the problem of dedicated video barker channels. When subscribers tune a
channel for which they are not authorized, the home terminal can display an operator-defined barker message
explaining, for example, how to order the channel. The barker message for a particular premium channel can
be up to 240-characters long and includes the channel number and name with a color background. System
operators can display different barkers for PPV, premium, unused, and parentally-controlled channels.
Value Added Group and Individual Messaging
The 8610 Addressable Home Terminal messaging capabilities create flexible marketing opportunities for cable
operators. Message applications include: cable system promotions, past-due reminders, public service
announcements, and targeted advertising. System operators can define up to 64 different home terminal groups
and send messages to all terminals within each group. Operators may also individually address messages
to one or more home terminals. When the 8610 Addressable Home Terminal receives a message, an alert is
overlaid on the video to inform the subscriber “You have a message.” If the home terminal is turned off, the
message LED on the home terminal’s front panel will flash until the subscriber retrieves the message.
Baseband Scrambling for Maximum Security
The Model 8610 Addressable Home Terminal provides optimum security. Dynamic video baseband and RF
sync-suppression scrambling techniques protect premium and PPV channels from theft of service.
Signal security is further enhanced through the use of “in-band” conditional access. Provisioning transactions
are transmitted as part of the program signal, making it virtually impossible to block network control transactions
to the terminal.
SoundProtect™ audio masking is an optional feature of the 8610 Addressable Home Terminal that alters the
audio programming on an analog channel so that a cable-ready TV or VCR is unable to receive it.
Only subscribers with properly authorized 8610 Addressable Home Terminals will be able to recover the original
audio programming.
Expanded Tuning Range
Standard 750 MHz tuning bandwidth provides operators the flexibility to offer expanded analog channels.
Set-Top Control
Set-top control is a new feature that allows subscribers to control home terminal features and provides a status
screen for easy diagnostics.
Subscribers can control whether the on-screen display appears and if the power outlet is on or off.
