textile and garment industry
wait in anticipation for ITMA.
Come 12 November, tens of thousands
of industry members will gather in
Milan for the 17th edition of ITMA.
Innovation is an integral part of the
ITMA DNA, and ITMA 2015 offers the
largest global showcase of innovative

today face.
Master the art of
sustainable innovation
With the growing awareness of
environmental protection and social
responsibility,
sustainability
has
become more than just a buzzword.
For some, it’s a business strategy; for
others, it’s about survival. Undeniably,
it is no longer just an option. At ITMA
2015, you can source sustainable
innovative solutions throughout the
entire value chain.
Sistema Moda Italia is delighted
to share ITMA’s commitment
to
industry
sustainability.
We believe that a scientific
and industrial approach to
sustainability topics is the best
way that allows our textile and
fashion industry chain, the
biggest in western countries, to be
preserved in all its peculiarities.
Dr Claudio Marenzi
President

Famed for its stunning streets, designer
shops and chic places to eat and stay,
Milan is in fact the heart of Italy’s
economy and finance, and overall a
symbol of productivity within the
country. The city’s dynamism is
manifested in its numerous art and
cultural events, animated nightlife and
sporting activities.
Eat
Although Milan is more often thought of as a fashion hub
than a food hub, Milan offers some local specialties like
the risotto alla milanese (made with beef stock and bone
marrow, and coloured with saffron), and the cotoletta alla
milanese (thin breaded veal cutlets traditionally
fried in clarified butter with the bone in).

Milan is a fashion shopper’s paradise, and there is perhaps
no better place to indulge than the famed Galleria Vittorio
Emanuele II, a magnificent shopping arcade and an
extraordinary feat of architecture melding beauty, art and
luxury under a glass roof.
