Pangbourne College was founded in 1917 initially as a Nautical College
preparing boys to be officers in the Merchant Navy. In 1969 the
College changed its focus and become a more traditional educational
establishment and today is recognized as one of the country’s most
respected and prestigious independent day and boarding schools.
The College is set in 268 acres of beautiful and well kept parkland 20 minutes from the large
town of Reading, 40 minutes from the famous Windsor Castle and 1 hour west of central
London. This offers groups a range of attractions and cities to visit for their various excursions.
