The role of the Legions of Christ is that of the formation of seminarians.
It is similar to parents’ experience in their commitment to the formation of their
own sons: ‘every day one learns something concrete which helps him in his own
personal development’. The Seminary is, ‘a vocational community, as nobody develops
his vocation on his own’, and we, as always, want to give our support, minimal as it may be.

guide of the Vatican City State. The visit to the Vatican Gardens allows the visitor to observe
works of art and natural wonders within the smallest State in the world.

THE NEW DIPLOMATIC CORRESPONDENTS, CIVIL AND POLITICAL AUTHORITIES AND A
REPRESENTATION OF DIPLOMATIC CORRESPONDENTS IN FULL UNIFORM.
ALL THE PARTICIPANTS WILL RECEIVE THE PAPAL PARCHMENT
WITH THE APOSTOLIC BLESSING
It’s only after having received the official communication
that provisions for participation will be provided confidentially.
IMPORTANT
1. For reasons of public security, it is prohibited to enter the Vatican armed,
even though holding a handgun license.
2. It is obligatory to communicate the names of partner. An identity card will
be required at the entrance.
3. Diplomatic Correspondents may take only one person with them.
On coming out of the Vatican, one may go back to the hotel. Free afternoon.

GALA EVENING
A Gala evening has been organised as a fitting closure to this programme. It will start at 20.00 in
the Salone Grande delle Feste del Relais Le Jardin di Villa Miani - Via Trionfale, 151.
Present the evening the talented and beautiful Neapolitan journalist Barbara Di Palma, special
correspondent of the program "Vita in Diretta Rai 1".
The conferral of the International Mediterranean Award 2014/15 - will be given during this
event, in the presence of the President of the Republic of Malta - Mrs Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca,
and the First Lady of the Republic of Malta - Mrs Michelle Muscat, wife of the Prime Minister of
Malta. This award consists of a trophy and a commemorative medal. These will be given to leading
figures who have distinguished themselves in their field of activity - namely, culture, medicine,
science, television, the arts, journalism, music, performing arts, sports, etc.
In these last years, several personalities have already been given such an award, including:
The First Lady of the Republic of Suriname, Liesbeth Venetiaan Vanenburg, Andrea Bocelli, Prof.
Dr. Guido de Marco (President of the Republic of Malta), Antonio De Curtis, Astronaut Umberto
Guidoni, Arnoldo Foa`, the Hon. Alex Sciberras Trigona, who was already Minister of Foreign
Affairs in Malta, Astronaut Col. Roberto Vittori, Peppino di Capri, Stefano D’Orazio, Diego
Armando Maradona, Barbara Bouchet, Ivana Spagna, Enrico Montesano e Luisa Corna.
This year, together with the Honorary Italian President CD - Gen. Antonio Iaria, and other close
colleagues, we have also invited as honoured guests, several celebrities and artists who will
receive this award.
For organizational reasons and taking into account the great amount of work in such
preparations, besides the enormous efforts undertaken, it is indispensable to confirm one’s
participation within and not after Friday 23RD January 2015 at: [email protected].
All Diplomatic Correspondents should wear the ceremonial or gala uniform. Guests must wear a
tuxedo or dark suit and black tie - (men), while women should wear an evening dress.
Only those who reserve a place within the established dates will receive an invitation which gives
them access to enter with the number of the table where they shall be seated.
In order to avoid regrettable embarrassments, and in view of presence of foreign authorities, it is
severely prohibited to occupy places which are different from those shown on the invitation.
The tables numbered, will be attributed following the criterion of receipt of bookings.
During the Gala Evening, there will be present, prominent journalists and the television channel
TEF - SKY.
