Please join us for a free weekend of camping! All we ask is that you help clean up the
campground on Saturday. BYO rake, blower, etc. Start Saturday morning off with FREE Hot

Upon entering the campground all visitors must register at the
store/office, pay fee BEFORE going to ANY site and get their vehicle
pass. Any vehicle found on campground property without a pass or without
having checked in at the store will be in violation of the rules and will be
asked to leave. All fees for both adults and children are listed above and
posted in the store/office. Visitors wishing to bring a boat must call ahead
for availability. The boat slip fee is $25. All day visitors must be off the
grounds by 8 PM. Overnight visitors must be off the grounds by 10 AM or
register at the store/office and pay the fee for that day. Visitors are NOT
ALLOWED to bring pets. All campers renting sites shall be responsible
for their visitors’ actions. All visitors’ vehicles are to be parked on the
site they are visting. Since there is a limit of 2 vehicles per site, any
additional vehicles must be parked in the designated parking area.

RULES & REGULATIONS
QUIET HOURS - will be observed Sunday-Thursday from 10pm - 8am,
Friday and Saturday from 11pm - 8am. Nightly patrol will ensure compliance
with this rule. Anyone that does not comply with this rule will be asked to
leave. Please no radios or TVs on outside during quiet time.
CAMPFIRES - Must be kept small and within the fire pit provided by the
campground. Do not leave your campsite or go to bed with a fire still burning.
We ask that you put your fire out no later than 1:00 AM and do not start a fire
before 7:00 AM. PLEASE DO NOT MOVE FIRE PITS. Wood is sold at the store.
Do not burn large logs in the fire pits. Please do not burn pressure treated
lumber, lumber with nails or screws, or lumber that has been painted.
Don’t transport firewood: “Buy where you burn.” This prevents the spread
of insects, etc. from one location or state to another.
PLEASE BE SURE YOUR CAMPFIRE IS EXTINGUISHED COMPLETELY
BEFORE YOU LEAVE!
NO CUTTING OR DISFIGURING ANY TREES.
DO NOT DUMP CHARCOAL OR ASHES IN THE WOODS.
USE OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES - Maine State law prohibits anyone under
the age of 21 to possess or consume alcoholic beverages or anyone to furnish
alcoholic beverages to anyone under the age of 21.
PROFANITY - Explicit behavior or inappropriate language by children or
adults will not be tolerated. This will result in expulsion without refund.
CIGARETTE SMOKERS - Please do not drop cigarette butts on the ground.
Discarding of butts can be done in a neat, safe manner. Either burn them or
discard them in the trash. Please do not smoke in our restrooms, store, rec
hall, on our store decks, beaches, basketball court or PLAYGROUND.
BOAT - All boats with a motor must be in a boat slip. Check at the store
for a number and pay the fee. You need to have registration number, make
and model when signing in. No motorized boats are to be kept in front of
waterfront sites. Power boats must maintain headway speed within 200
ft. of swimming areas, boat docks and shore line.
FIREWORKS, FIREARMS, OTHER WEAPONS, AND ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES
ARE PROHIBITED ON CAMPGROUND PROPERTY.

GENERAL INFO
PURE SPRING WATER - Our well water is great for drinking. It has been
tested by the Maine Department of Human Services. We have one well on the
property which is over 900’ deep and is probably the cleanest water you will
ever drink.
SEWERAGE/DUMP STATION - The dump station is free to our campers when
exiting the campground. Anyone wanting to come in and use the dump station
will be charged a $40.00 fee. Our pumping is done three times per week.
The fee for pumping is $25.00 for Black and Gray Water holding Tanks, each
additional Gray tank is $10.00. You must sign up for pumping the day before.
Emergency pumping is available for an extra fee. Reminder !! Only use
RV toilet paper in your RV. For sanitation reasons we do not allow the use of
blue tanks “AKA BLUEBERRIES” on campground property to haul Gray or Black
Water to our Dump Station. No fluid discharge of any type is allowed to flow
into or onto the ground. Please use sinks outside the rest rooms for washing
dishes. Absolutely no sewage will be dumped in these sinks. Do not bathe in
these sinks.
TRASH - All trash is to be placed in kitchen size plastic bags by the edge of
the road for pick-up before noon. Please do not leave trash out overnight or
for pick-up after noon as animals may get into it. Please do not leave trash
in fire pit or burn trash! Large items including chairs, stoves, grills, etc. are
not to be left for trash pick up or at dumpsters. Normal waste garbage only!

LAUNDROMAT - Available for your convenience. Please leave it neat and
clean for the next person. The store/office has detergent, dryer sheets and
coins available.
BATHROOMS - Bathrooms are cleaned daily. Please pick up after yourself
when you exit the bathrooms. Children under 6 years of age must be
accompanied by an adult. NO BARE FEET ALLOWED.
PETS - We are a pet-friendly campground, but please make sure your pet
behaves properly and does not disturb other campers having a quiet family
vacation. When registering at the store/office, you will be required to fill out
our pet agreement. The rules must be followed or your pet will be required
to leave campground property. Pets must always be leashed, QUIET AT ALL
TIMES AND PICKED UP AFTER. Pets are not to be left unattended at any time.
Please be sure to have a plastic bag when walking your dog. You must have
your dog under control at all times. Therefore, NO child under the age of 15 is
allowed to walk a dog. Management reserves the right to refuse pets on
campground property if they feel they are a danger to other campers.
No Rottweilers or Pittbulls allowed in the campground.

SAFETY & PRECAUTIONS
CHILDREN - No one under the age of 21 is allowed to camp or be left without
adult supervision. Children under 18 must be on a camper’s site and under
adult supervision after 10 pm. NO “POWER WHEELS” or powered children’s
recreation vehicles allowed.
VEHICLES - The speed limit in the campground is 5 MPH. There is a limit
of TWO vehicles per site and any additional vehicles must be parked in the
designated parking area. Parking on adjacent sites is not allowed. Please
watch for children at all times. No golf carts or other motorized vehicles of any
kind are allowed on campground property.
PRIVACY - Respect the privacy of other campers and do not trespass or cut
through their sites. Please make sure your children and guests are aware
of this rule.
BICYCLES - State of Maine Law requires that children under the age of 16 must
wear a helmet. For your convenience, the store will have a limited supply of
helmets for sale and for rent if your child does not have one. We want to keep
all children safe, so please make sure your children obey this rule. Bicycles will
not be ridden after dark or on foot paths, beaches, docks, or into the water or
buildings. Please ride at a reasonable speed.
SWIMMING - Swimming is at your own risk and restricted to designated areas
only. THERE ARE NO LIFEGUARDS ON DUTY. No one is to swim or play
around the boat dock area. No bathing, washing hair or dishes anywhere in
Trickey Pond.
NO SWIMMING IN FRONT OF WATERFRONT SITES.
NO SWIMMING AFTER DUSK OR BEFORE DAWN.
CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 12 MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN
ADULT WHEN SWIMMING.

RESERVATION INFORMATION
RATE & RESERVATIONS - This is a privately owned campground; OPEN MAY 15 OCTOBER 15. We reserve the right to select our clientele and guests. Minors under
21 years old are not allowed to camp without a parent or guardian. We encourage
payment in full before arrival date. This helps to speed up the check-in process.
Once a family has arrived and registered at Loon’s Haven, refunds will not be
granted due to weather or personal reasons.
CANCELLATION POLICY - In order to receive a full refund on cancelled
reservations, the cancellation must be received 1(one) month in advance of the
scheduled arrival date. There is a $25.00 handling fee for each refund. NO
REFUNDS ON HOLIDAY RESERVATIONS.
DEPOSITS AND FUTURE RESERVATIONS - Deposits must be paid within 5 days
of reservation. We accept Cash, Checks, Mastercard, Visa and Discover Card.
Holiday reservations to be paid in full prior to arrival. Reservations for 2017 are
open beginning May 15, 2016. All reservations will be on first come/call, first serve
basis. If you reserve more than one campsite, you are responsible for the deposit
for each family for which you have reserved a site or sites. There is a $5.00 service
charge for each reservation change made prior to arrival.
CAMPSITES - are rented to one family consisting of two (2) adults and their children
(under the age of 18). Extra adults or children will be charged fee (see guest fees).
Two families sharing one site, each using their own camping equipment (tents, trailer,
RV, etc.), will both be charged the full site fee. Only two vehicles will be allowed per
site, each additional vehicle must be parked in the designated parking area.
CHECK-IN is from 2pm - 8pm. If you will be arriving after 8pm, please call the
store by 8pm to notify and check-in over the phone. If you would like to check-in
before 2pm, please call the store to see if your site is available. If it is, you may
check in early for a fee of $25.00. CHECK-OUT is at Noon. If you would like to
stay for the remainder of the day, you may do so for a fee of $25.00. However, you
must still vacate the site and park in the overflow area by noon, if the site is to be
occupied by another camper at 2:00pm.

VEHICLE IN THE CAMPGROUND ONCE YOU HAVE REGISTERED.

NOTICE: This property is privately owned. The camper accepts camping privileges with
the understanding that he/or she does hereby release the Campground, its officers and
employees of all liability for loss or damage to property and injury to this person arising
out of use of its camping facilities, and agrees to indemnify the Campground, its officers
and employees, against claims resulting from loss or damage to property or injury to
the person of any member of the family or guest of the registered camper arising out of
the use of its camping facilities.
