DockDogs® is the independent governing and
sanctioning body for Regional, National and
International dock jumping and dock diving
performance sports. DockDogs® establishes the
rules & standards of the sport, tracks results &
records while supporting & promoting the growth
of its athletes, events, spectators and sponsors.
DockDogs® is the largest diversified presenter of
dock jumping and dock diving Dog Performance
Sports in the world. Year after year, each of our
programs produce a variety of live events that
have proven drawing power. The intense action
provided by DockDogs® events are guaranteed to
leave a lasting impact on anyone who witnesses
these amazing events.
Last year, we set out to attract between
7,000 and 8,000 visitors to the DockDogs®
Pet Lovers’ Extravaganza hosted by
Care-A-Lot® Pet Supply and we definitely
met that goal, attracting an estimated
8,200 people from 77 cities, 20 states, and
2 countries! Using the information from our
on-site survey, we learned that nearly 94%
of attendees last year owned a dog,
putting the number of dog owners at last
year’s event at over 7,700!
But once again, dog lovers weren’t the only
ones to come out and enjoy the show:
29% also owned cats, 11% owned fish, 8%
owned small animals, 6% owned birds, &
another 6% owned reptiles. Even horse
owners made their way out to see the event!
This year, we hope to keep growing and we
expect another 8,500 to 9,000 visitors!
The DockDogs® competition is simple and easy, encouraging
everyone, young or old, amateur or veteran, to participate! You
don’t need a high-priced purebred dog or extensive training.
Anyone with a dog and a ball or toy can compete! That
accessibility, along with it’s popularity, creates effective &
positive sponsor impressions.
But what else can spectators expect?
This year sees the return of our popular Care-A-Lot® Prize Patrol
Wheel and Punch Card Contest!
The Prize Patrol Wheel is a fun and interactive way to get products
and samples in the hands of potential customers. They only need to
fill out a small survey, spin the wheel and they can start their
DockDogs® experience with a fun prize from Care-A-Lot® or
product sample from a sponsor or vendor!
Our Punch Card Contest allows attendees to enter several
drawings for amazing prizes and raffles, simply by visiting every
vendor or sponsor’s tent while they watch the event!
This ensures that EVERY attending sponsor meets with
consumers and makes an impression!
In addition, spectators can look forward to:

K-9s In Flight!
We’ll have K-9s In Flight performing all weekend,
consisting of World Class Frisbee dogs
performing incredible “feets” of athleticism!
There are big dogs, little dogs, long hair dogs,
short hair dogs, and overall the top K9 Athletes in
the World, as seen on ESPN and Animal Planet!
All of these amazing K9 athletes have been rescued or adopted from
streets and shelters around the country. Homeless to High Flying!
