The Funds
All the money that we raise will go the African National
Congress to ensure that they have the financial resources to
participate equally in South Afica's first free election on 27
April 1994. The money is needed for voter education and
campaigning materials in the face of the enormous resources
available to the National Party.
The Walk is just one of a number of activities which will be
organised over the next few months to help the Sheffield ANC
Election Fund reach the target of £5000 For more
information on other activities, contact Sheffield AAM on
739147 (24 hours).
The Route
Covers 12 miles, through some of Sheffield's finest
countryside. Starting at Hunter's Bar it follows the route of
the famous 'Round Walk' for much of the way.
