MARONITE CHRISTIAN FORMATION: Classes 1-6 are on Sunday
morning at 9am. Classes 7-12 are on the third Sunday of the month at 6pm,
followed by MYO. The calendar is published in the bulletin and on the Website.
Confessions: Saturday 3 - 3:40pm and by appointment.

LENTEN OBSERVANCES
•All Maronites who are physically capable
are to abstain from meat on Ash Monday
(20 February) and all Fridays of Lent
(24 February - 6 April).
•Ash Monday (20 February) and the Great
Friday of the Crucifixion (6 April) are also
days of fasting. Fasting in the Maronite
Church involves eating and drinking nothing at
all (except water and medicine) from midnight
until noon. The rest of the day normal meals
can be taken but without meat. All Maronites
who are physically capable are to fast on these
two days.
