We need to start out
thanking everyone who helped
at the WORLDS and pretty
much everyone helped out at
the WORLDS. It was a tale of
almost 2 events with record
breaking attendance on the
pulling side and a little less than
average attendance on the
racing side. With 291 (+ those
2 company diggers) we hit a
record 293 7 away from that
golden 2 300 mark...however,
this was the biggest R/C pull
ever and the smoothest ever
run...Bob Perl did another
outstanding job of eliminating
the field by 1:00 on
Sunday ..wow! Everyone
pitched in and grabbed the rake
and roller and pull back helping
the event along. I cannot thank
all of you enough. The
competition was really super
close and the stats were
projected on the wall behind the
scorekeepers and that really
kept the pullers informed also
Andy Linkenholker had the
entire results on the internet so
people could watch along at
home or at the event in your
pits if they wanted to. That also

Both tracks were the
smoothest ever and quite a few
stepped up to help with that
but again the Etzkorns did
another outstanding job over
there. In the future we plan on
buying a new track (and
aluminum one built by
Haulman mnfg) and probably a
new sled or 2 that would be
the first investment we have
had over there in a long time.
We used 2 of Josh
Baumgardener’s beautiful
outlaw hobby sleds that
worked smooth all weekend
without a glitch.
On the racing side we
were like 10 entries under
average. We need to improve
on that and Casey Kuchman
stepped up to the plate to try
and seek suggestions on how
we can revitalize the racing
side….some of this was caused
by the change of dates (HEY!
what did happen on our
weekend anyways? ...Well
they had MMA that weekend
with the hexagon and a ton of
people hanging out all over the
balconies.) I think racing
would have looked better over
there. That date change hurt a
lot of people, however we are
booked for the old dates next
year. If that date had remained
the same with the added new
people it would have been a
record year for sure! Some of
the things we are looking at are
elimination racing for a few
classes on Sunday for the
SPRINGS and WORLDS.

well with the driver by their
truck waiting to get called to
the line and they are ready to
go in moments. How else do
you get through 3 rounds
with 291 vehicles? We feel
this will move the event
down better on racing too.
Also on the list is using the 2
minutes to get to the line or
lose your round (like on the
pulling side) . We are trying
to use things we already have
in the rulebook that seem to
keep the pulling side from
having the problems racing
has. We also opened free
discussion on facebook over
this and got a ton of
suggestions. All of that is
being looked at for
feasibility. In short we did
have another awesome event
not with out some problems
but overall another good
year for the NR/CTPA at
the WORLDS.

CKYRCP Summer / Fall Report
Central KY R/C Pullers has had an outstanding summer, we held our annual Summer Points Series
starting May 16 2015 to September 12 2015, + consisting of 8 events scattered throughout KY at festivals
and county fairs. I am proud to report that our average total vehicle entry per event was 135. On
October 17 2015 we held our 6th annual KY State R/C Pulling Championships at the Hardin Co
Fairgrounds in Glendale KY. This as a huge success with a total entries of 175, because of the number of
entries we ran a new pulling format for this event. Starting with 4 in a class the top 50% would move on
to round 2 and there that round was ran as a floating finish to determine the top 3 vehicles in each class.
This seemed to work well for us. Thanks to all that pulled with us this year it takes the pullers to make
the club great.

This class was designed to replicate the early days of Monster truck racing. The truck needs to represent a monster truck that was built
pre 1991. In the early days they had basic suspensions but were detailed in appearance. This is a fun way to celebrate the earliest days
of monster truck racing. The running of the event can include racing and sled pulling , mud bogging in a faux mud put and other
events that were done in those early days.
The proposed rules areas follows:
1. 1/10 scale vehicle and body must represent a real monster truck that was built pre 1991 and below:
2. Wheelbase must represent the vehicle that it is replicating
3. Vehicle needs a hitch to compete in the pulling portion of the event
4. A tire may be modified to match a vehicle it is replicating
5. Clod sized tires / 2.6 wheels must be used with the exception of replicating a tractor sized vehicle
6. The truck must be 4WD with 2 solid axles
7. The truck maybe 2 or 4 wheels steer
8. No three/ 4 link suspensions allowed but stock Juggernaut 1 and 2 versions are allowed.
9. Picture proff of the replicated vehicle may be required.
Motor Battery combinations are as follows. Must be one combination or the other.
1.
45 or higher turn sealed endbell brushed motor (s) with a 2S lipo
2.
Stock 27 turn, Kyosho Magnetic Mayhem 360 or traxxas stinger motors wit a 1S lipo or 4 sub C cell battery
