Circles and diamonds and squares. Oh, my! The simple geometric. Honest. Neat. Precise.
Familiar shapes combine with artistic styling to create elegant, unpretentious designs.
Timeless. Versatile. Captivating.
ASPEN
This geometric print has captured a masculine vibe. The field is covered
with intermittent horizontal speckled lines. The primary pattern is formed
of concentric diamonds, the largest is twenty three inches, and they are
made from the tiniest of blocks, a mere eighth of an inch. The placement
of the colors creates a sort of ombre pattern in a sophisticated ‘30’s retro
mood in shades such as beige with brown, cream and grey. Its intended
partner is Chalet.
HOURGLASS TRELLIS
This geometric ogee pattern is composed of interlocking bands that
form a variety of shapes. You can see an hourglass, a Moroccan lantern,
a garden trellis, or an Oriental screen. Several colors of this large scale
wallpaper are printed on a century old printing press that creates a
dimensional design while some are smooth. It makes quite an on-trend
statement in a modern or contemporary room, with the choice of eight
two tone palettes; some bright, some bold, some neutral including beige
and cream.
LABYRINTH
You may get lost in this labyrinth of lovely texture and tonal color. What
a rich geometric pattern, with pearlescent background and velvety
flocked design. The maze of narrow lines creates a multi-layered, angular,
undulating wave on a horizontal plane. Use this superb wallpaper in
an elegant modern or contemporary room to spectacular effect. Five
palettes include glowing blue pearl with deep navy flocking or sterling
silver with dove grey lines.
GARDEN PERGOLA
Picture a garden pergola with white bands intersecting overhead and
laterally, too. The ribbons form an angular pattern of diamonds, squares,
and elongated hexagons. The geometric result is reminiscent of a trellis
or lattice just waiting for the embrace of flowering vines. How crisp this
would be in a kitchen, sunroom, or bath! There are six palettes, among
them a cheery sunshine yellow with white strips and slender grey
shadow accents.
HONEYCOMB
The hexagonal shape of a honeycomb is the basis for this smallish
design. The concentric patterns on a solid field are enhanced with
the contrasting center of each six-sided figure. Some of the selections
feature metallic ink while some feature a pearly finish. Colors range from
quiet, like beige, grey, and cream, to vivid, such as bright turquoise with
white and silver. This wallpaper is ideal for a contemporary or modern
home.
GRAPHIC KNIT
Knit one, purl two. Well, not really…but this unique wallpaper does
remind one of a favorite cashmere sweater. The pattern has vertical and
horizontal “threads” atop a stripe that looks like an oversized chain stitch
or a line of pinnate leaves. This design comes in six varied palettes, dark
or light, neutral or bright like a yellow, cream, and grey combination.
GRADIENT CHEVRON
This wallpaper is a large scale variegated version of menswear
herringbone with the visual texture of woven wool. The design also
possesses a surprisingly feminine appeal. The shaded chevrons have a
trompe l’oeil quality that creates the illusion of advancing and receding
pattern. There are four hues to select from including a rich grey.
CHALET
Diamonds remain a girl’s, and a guy’s, best friend. This wallpaper
features three by two inch diamonds created from tiny contrasting
blocks on a speckled field. Within each of those geometric shapes
are diminishing peaks of the tiny blocks forming chevrons that point
upward in yet another color. The resultant pattern is a handsome sort
of menswear look in five distinctive palettes, one of which is in three
intensities of grey. Its companion paper is Aspen.
IRONGATE TRELLIS
The marriage of two disparate elements works beautifully on this Asian
influenced wallpaper. The background is a beautiful faux grass cloth
in variegated shades of a given color. A geometric pattern similar to an
exotic wrought iron garden gate overlays the field and raised inks add
the element of texture, thus dimension. Six color ways include organic
neutrals or select shades of south seas aqua or teal.
DIAMOND LATTICE
This small scale design begs the question; X’s or diamonds? The
conjoined shapes, defined by slender lines, form a geometric web,
creating a neat and tidy two color pattern. It’s on a medium scale,
slightly larger than four inches tall and two inches wide. This wallpaper
would look fresh in a modern or contemporary setting. Six color choices
including white with bright orange or black with silver/grey.
RETRO LINKS
This lively stripe is composed of multicolored links six inches long and
four inches wide. No wallflower this, but rather a confident wallpaper
with vivacious color ways and retro mod chain styling. There are six
choices available with multiple bands of color on a solid field, some
neutral and some brilliant, such as the blues, green, and beige on white.
This paper would make a terrific addition to a modern or contemporary
room.
THREADED LINKS
Ribbons of contrasting color unite to form threaded links. Where the
bands intersect they form a four petal shape also creating squares and
rectangles. The medium sized geometric pattern is like a fascinating
puzzle, boasts surface printing for a hand painted effect, and comes in
seven dual color combinations including bright orange or lime green
with white. Use this fun wallpaper in a contemporary or modern venue.
MOROCCAN SPOT
Beyond pretty, this small print with the Moroccan influence is fun and
cheerful. The little squares have serpentine borders and are tipped on
their sides to form diamond shapes. In the center of each is a tiny fourpointed star. Printed in a trio of colors, the five selections include brights,
such as kiwi with white and magenta, or neutrals, like beige with white
and tan. This wallpaper would be an uplifting addition to the home.
