Coaches!
PE+ provides physical education classes 2 days per week for grades K-5, plus recess/lunch activities and
support, at 10 school sites in Redwood City School District, reaching over 5000 students per year.
Nick JUSTICE, HEAD COACH
Nick is in his seventh year with PE+. Nick was a star for his high school football team. After
high school he joined the PE+ Program in its first year. Nick has spent the last five years coaching in a majority of schools in the Redwood City School District.

Kenneth WALKER, COACH
Kenneth is in his second year with PE+. Outside of coaching for PE+,
Kenneth is a longstanding counselor for Legarza Basketball Camp.
Kenneth spends time coaching two elementary school basketball
teams at Abbott Middle School and Immaculate Heart of Mary.
Cristian LOPEZ, COACH
Cristian is entering his second year with PE+. Cristian spent
the past summer working with youth at PCC for Swim & Gym.
Cristian does not have a favorite sport because he loves to play
them all.
Standards-based classes
include Warm-up, Skill
Instruction, Sport Instruction and Nutrition/
Health Huddle.
PE+ is a strategic Healthy Schools Initiative partnership project between Redwood City Parks, Recreation
and Community Services and Peninsula Community Center.
