Meet The Faculty
Angels Boembeke B.A., M.B.A.
Angela Boembeke holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Indiana
Wesleyan University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Anderson University in Graphic
Design with a cognate in Business. She teaches upper level Graphic Design, Business
Practices for the Visual Artist, and Portfolio courses for the Visual Communications
program. Boembeke joined Ivy Tech In the fall of 1996, was then appointed regional
Program Chair in 2001. She is actively involved in the local chapter of the American
Advertising Federation offering students the opportunity to compete in the national
AAF ADDY awards competition.

Craig Sheaks B.F.A.
Craig M. Sheaks received his Bachelors of Fine Art from Indiana University. In 2003 he
started teaching at Ivy Tech Community College. Through Craig’s efforts to develop the
curriculum and facilities the photography emphasis is thriving at Ivy Tech Community
College. Craig provides many learning opportunities both in and out of the classroom.
He has engaged the students in community learning through exposure to area
commercial, non-profit, and portrait photography businesses. Craig continually develops
his personal work and has been published in notable magazines, such as, B&W and
Camera Arts.
