CARLOS GAGO Carlos opened his first salon in Coimbra at 21, and
became a L’Oréal Professionnel ID Artist in 2003. In 2010 he took part
in the H3 project with 5 other International hairdressers. In 2014 he
celebrated 30 years of his salon. Carlos also works with theater, opera and film
companies and he created new visuals for music artists. Carlos has worked on
the launches of Tec Ni Art in shows, training, TVI CMTV, and with fashion bloggers
and consumer press.
ARNAULD JAMBART Arnauld trained in Lille from 1985 for three years,
was soon promoted to Artistic Director and began working backstage
at fashion shows. In 1998 he moved to Paris and became the training
Director after two years. In 2009 Arnaud opened his salon Nuance Fr
in Guimarães and in 2012 became a L’Oréal Professionnel ID Artist.
SONIA SILVA Sonia completed a BA in Business Administration &
followed with studies in Leadership & Team Management and a
Marketing Degree at ISCAP. In 2010 she switched careers and became
a hairstylist following intenstive training. Since 1998 she has worked at
Model Academy & Salon in Gondamar and in 2010 she became a
L’Oréal Professionnel ID Artist & has worked backstage on fashion shows.
CARLOS QUEIRAS Carlos started hairdressing in 1987 and loves it.
He is Managing partner and Creative Director for Teu Estilo Concept in Oporto.
He was winner of the Curl Designer for Kérastase in 2007 and has been working
as a L’Oréal Professionnel ID artist since 2008. Carlos also works backstage at
fashion events and on visual production for the magazine Online Trends, and he
regularly trains other hairdressers.
RITA AZEVEDO Rita has been hairdressing for eighteen years and is the Managing
Partner & Creative Director of Matriz C&E by Rita Azevedo, and she has been a
L’Oréal Professionnel ID Artist since 2008.
She presents workshops and training sessions on image consulting and also
works backstage at fashion shows.
CLAUDIO MORGADO PACHECO Claudio is owner and Creative Director
of Chiado Studio in Lisbon. An experienced hairdresser, he has done extensive
training in cutting, colour and styling. From 2012 to 2014 he was Top Stylist and
Technical Director for Toni&Guy in Lisbon. He then worked as a hairstylist for
GriffeHairstyle in Lisbon before opening his own salon in 2016. Claudio has taken
part in many photo-shoots & in 2015 he became a L’Oréal Professionnel ID Artist.

Jennifer MacDougall, originally from Canada, now lives in NYC. She has worked
at New York Fashion Week and most recently has worked with Gucci, Vogue,
Cosmo, Vanity Fair, Elle Canada, Home Living, Weight Watchers, Chatelaine,
Flair and Marie Claire magazines. Her work has been on TV shows, such as:
Project Runway, Fashion Police, Joan Knows Best, and The Real Housewives of
New York & Miami. Jennifer won North America’s Hair Colorist of the Year award
(NAHA) two years, consecutively; and was awarded Canadian Master Hairstylist
of the Year.
Jo Blackwell-Preston is a world-renowned colorist and educator, and the
owner of DOP DOP Salon. She travels extensively as a Color Council member
for L’Oréal Professionnel. She is a mentor and coach for the LP salon network,
and her development program Talking R.I.S.K.S is one of the most requested.
Jo is on the Board of Directors for Intercoiffure North America. She has received
the Chevalier Award, Personality of the Year from Intercoiffure North America,
Educator of the Year from the International Haircolor Exchange and an Emmy
Award for her collaboration with Sesame Street.
Heath Grout is a Cutting Council member with L’Oréal Professionnel U.S.
The expression of a brand message through imagery is where Heath’s passion
lies. Heath’s photography has been featured in more than 40 hair publications
and fashion magazines. He has also worked backstage at Fashion Weeks for
nearly 2 decades. Students find Heath inspiring for his extensive technical
knowledge and effortless style of teaching. He has been the keynote speaker
at seminars and industry events all over the world.

For Bertram K cutting hair is vocation and passion. Clients feel positive and
trustful the moment he picks up his scissors. For the Viennese hairdresser
personal relationships are the key to success, and knowing a person is the
foundation of each individual cut. For Bertram K, developing the perfect
shape comes from within. By intuition, he transforms his visions into reality.
He finds inspiration in paintings, films, music videos and travel.

Bertram doesn’t commit himself to particular trends. Hair is vivid, it grows
and changes. Being constantly on the move is also one of his most important
experiences from his time as a stylist in London where he moved to in 1995.
He worked his way up to art director with Toni&Guy within two years, styling
celebrities such as Donna Karan, Jamie Lee Curtis and Kim Wilde. He has
worked backstage at fashion shows for Dior, Helmut Lang, Issey Miyake,
Balenciaga and Copperwheat Blundell, styling supermodels such as Nadja
Auermann, Kate Moss, Alec Wek and others.
His philosophy which he conveyed to young hairdressers in London is also the
basis for his own business which he established when he returned to Austria in 2003.

The haircut is Bertram K’s means of expressing his philosophy and his ideas are
brought to life during his stage performances. Bertram works Internationally
for L’Oréal Professionnel and also at his Academy in Vienna, where he teaches
hairdressers his ‘Bertram-K-Method’ which stands for using positive energy to
cut hair in an uncomplicated and efficient manner.

JACK HOWARD

International hair colourist, Balayage expert and educator Jack Howard is the
International Colour Director at Paul Edmonds in London.
Balayage is a French word meaning to sweep or to paint. It allows for a
sun-kissed natural looking hair colour similar to what nature gives us as children
with softer, less noticeable regrowth lines - the principal idea being less is more
when creating soft, natural looks.
Jack has worked his colour magic on the likes of Poppy and Chloe Delevingne,
Donna Air, Kelly Brook, Ola Rudnicka (who wore his iridescent white blonde
on the catwalks of NYFW for Jason Wu, Diane Von Furstenberg, Tommy

recommended by the likes of Vogue. His career has led him from London to
Washington DC, New York to LA, San Francisco and Paris to become one of the

America.
His clients include many well-known personalities from the national news,
world of politics and fashion. His work has been featured in British Vogue,
Turkish Vogue, Modern Salon, Red Online and Glam UK to name just a few as
well as being a regular contributor to MTV Style UK.
As a member of L’Oréal Professionnel Portfolio Jack has taught Balayage
across the United States and has now brought that expertise and talent to the UK.

Japan
Harumi Iwakami has been working as a professional colourist for twenty two
years. She is based at Kakimoto Arms in Tokyo and speaks both Japanese and
English. She won the JHCA Japan Hair Colour Association champion in 1995.
Harumi also travelled to the UK and worked for two years at Daniel Galvin,
London, a renowned colour salon (2010 - 2012).
As a top colourist in Japan, Harumi has a number of celebrity clients including
Rinka, Jessica Michibata, Karen Michibata and Satoko Koizumi. Harumi has
developed many technical techniques for hair colour she shares in her seminars,
including Personal Colour (hair colour that complements your skin tone) and
Easy Foil Techniques for a quick change.
