UNITILE® is readily available in BlueScope Steel G300 Clean COLORBOND® steel.
Clean COLORBOND® steel, AZ150 G300
Clean COLORBOND® is the pre-painted ZINCALUME® steel with the ability to
prevent tropical dirt staining and better colour retention. Clean COLORBOND®
paint system is oven cured with nominal gloss of 25% which conforms to
Australian Standard AS2728 Category 3. It is certified to BOMBA Class ‘O’
(AS1530) with heat resistance up to 100° C.
Other materials are also available upon request;
• Clean COLORBOND® ULTRA AZ200 G300 steel.
• Clean COLORBOND® XPD Pearlescent AZ150 G300 steel.
• PrimaMaju AZ100 G300 steel.

ensures high quality Clean Colorbond® is precisely cold formed into UNITILE®.
WARNINGS
• Minimum recommended roof pitch for UNITILE® is 7°.
• Copper and Lead are incompatible materials and should NOT be used with
UNITILE® made from Clean Colorbond® Steel.
• Use only acetic-free sealant on UNITILE® sheets
• Manual cutting is recommended. Avoid circular saw cut that result in having
hot particles falling onto UNITILE® sheets.
• While walking on UNITILE®roof, evenly distribute weight to avoid
concentrating weight on either heels or toes. Use smooth soft soled shoes.

SCHEMATICS & LENGTHS
UNITILE® is produced in length up to 9m. However longer length is available
provided transport and 0n-site handling cna be arranged.
Keep roofing sheets dry and clear off the ground in a well ventilated area with
proper cover. This is to avoid accumulation of moisture on the roofing sheets
and to avoid contact with any corrosive agent such as chemicals, solvents or
noxious vapours.

LAYING
THERMAL & NOISE INSULATION
Laying begins at the gable side and from left to right (view from gutter to ridge).
Whenever possible, install the female rib first and subsequently fit the male rib
into the female rib. Before laying commences the dimensions of the under
laying structure must be thoroughly checked. The sheet must always be laid at
right angles to eaves. The first sheet on a roof must be laid with particular care
because it determines the lay of the subsequent sheets.
SIDE LAPPING
The correct side overlap ensures 100% water leakage proof and enhance
unique UNITILE® appearance.

UNITILE® has a back to back material performance warranty from BlueScope
Steel Malaysia of up to 25 years upon meeting all the requirements. The warranty
includes;
• Ability to resist dirt staining up to 5 years.
• No cracking, flaking or peeling up to 10 years*.
• No perforation due to corrosion up to 25 years*.
* denotes under normal well-washed exposure condition.
UNITILE® is best installed with proper thermal and noise insulation. A good
practice is to lay a layer of wire netting over battens, then a layer of double
sided aluminium foil, followed by a 50mm 40kg/m3 ROXUL® Rockwool, and
finally UNITILE® roofing sheets.
