ADOPTION OF AMENDED PLANNING SCHEME POLICY 4
Notice is given under the Sustainable Planning Act 2009 ,
Statutory Guideline 04/14 Making and amending local planning
instruments, that on 19 November 2014 Mareeba Shire Council
resolved to adopt amendments to Planning Scheme Policy 4 of
the Mareeba Shire Planning Scheme.
Planning Scheme Policy 4 is the FNQROC Development Manual.
Commencement
2. This notice commences on the date it is published in the
gazette.
The purpose of the amendment is to ensure that the Development
Manual continues to be functional and represents “best practice”
in accordance with accepted current state and national standards
for design and construction.

MORETON BAY REGIONAL COUNCIL
ADOPTION OF TEMPORARY LOCAL PLANNING INSTRUMENTS
Notice is given in accordance with the Sustainable Planning Act
2009 that on 17 November 2014, Moreton Bay Regional
Council adopted Caboolture ShirePlan Amendment 9. The
adopted amendments will have effect on and from Monday,
1 December 2014.
The purpose and general effect of the amendments is to change
the zone of properties at two locations in Lagoon Road,
Burpengary to reflect development approvals that have been
acted upon.

Rail Link and the Redcliffe City Planning Scheme TLPI 03/14
Moreton Bay Rail Link.
The temporary local planning instruments will ensure transit
oriented development principles are applied to development
proposals in the Moreton Bay Rail Link corridor. The provisions
apply to the properties identified in the Overlay Code Map
contained in the TLPIs. TLPI 02/14 and TLPI 03/14 will
commence on Monday 1 December 2014 and will remain in
effect until 30 November 2015.

Services Act 2006 , a Victim Trust Fund has been established in the
name of Raymond ALI as a result of a payment to him pursuant to
the Personal Injuries Proceedings Act 2002 . Victims of Raymond ALI
may have a claim against the Victim Trust Fund and that claim may
be payable from the Victim Trust Fund. Potential claimants have six
months from 7/10/2014 to start a proceeding in a court to have an
eligible victim claim against Raymond ALI.

Any victims of Raymond ALI who commence a claim against the
offender and wish to make a claim against the Victim Trust Fund
must notify the Public Trustee of the commencement of the claim
and provide sufficient proof of the commencement of the claim to
satisfy the Public Trustee. This notification must be made to the
Public Trustee within six months of the establishment of the Victim
Trust Fund, as detailed above.
It should be noted that pursuant to section 319S(2)(a) of the
Corrective Services Act 2006 , a victim may have a potential
eligible victim claim whether or not the offender is prosecuted
for, or convicted, of an offence in relation to the conduct for
which the victim is claiming.

Under section 495 of the Mental Health Act 2000 , the Schedule of Authorised Mental Health Services is amended to declare the
Children’s Health Queensland Authorised Mental Health Service, which amalgamates the services and staff of:

Royal Children’s Hospital Authorised Mental Health Service
Inpatients of the Mater Children’s Hospital and the Royal Children’s Hospital will be transferred to the new Lady Cilento Children’s
Hospital, Children’s Health Queensland Authorised Mental Health Service during the day of 29 November 2014. All three hospital
campuses will operate as Authorised Mental Health Services on this date.
Under section 497 of the Mental Health Act 2000 the position of Divisional Director, Child and Youth Mental Health Services,
Children’s Health Queensland Hospital and Health Service is declared as Administrator of the Children’s Health Queensland
Authorised Mental Health Service.

SCHEDULE
The event consists of Summer Titles Jet Ski Racing to be conducted
by the organisers, Queensland Personal Watercraft Club, for the
6th December 204 between the hours of 10.00am – 5.00pm and
the 7th December 2014 between the hours of 8.00am – 5.00pm
over the waters of Lake Atkinson (Atkinson’s Dam) as shown in red

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO SELL LAND
This notice is given to you by Gladstone Regional Council, and relates to property described below.
Background
This notice is given because rates or charges levied by the Council on the properties described below are at least 3 years overdue
or default judgment has been granted by the Magistrates Court on vacant or commercial land. The Council may sell the property
at public auction and use the proceeds to discharge the overdue rates or charges.
The Council is required to give a final notice to the property owner giving details of its decision and giving the owner a final
opportunity to pay the overdue rates or charges. If the overdue rates or charges are not paid within 3 months of the notice, the
Council will commence proceedings to sell the property without further reference to the property owner. The sale proceedings will
be discontinued if the amount of all overdue rates or charges levied on the land, and all expenses incurred by the Council for the
intended sale, are paid to it.
The Council has decided to apply this procedure to your property described above. This document gives you notice of the matters
which Council is required to notify under the Local Government Regulation 2012 to give the property owner a final opportunity to
pay the overdue rates or charges and prevent sale of the land by Council.
Formal Notice
Council hereby notifies as follows: (a) Gladstone Regional Council has decided, by resolution, to sell the land described below because an overdue rate or charge
has remained unpaid.
(b) This document is a notice of intention to sell land under section 140 of the Local Government Regulation 2012 .
(c) The date of the Council meeting at which the resolution to sell the land was made under section 140 of the Local Government
Regulation 2012 was 18 November 2014 and the resolution was in the following terms:(d) “That Council sell the properties described, in accordance with the provisions of Section 140 of the Local Government
Regulation 2012 for arrears of rates. The properties described are to be sold by way of auction for arrears of rates with an
auction reserve and other terms of the process to be set by the Chief Executive Officer having regard to the requirements of
the Local Government Act and associated regulations.
(e) Details of all overdue rates or charges and interest accrued on the overdue rates for the land as described below, as at

the Local Government Regulation 2012 . The sale proceeds will be applied to discharge the overdue rates.

paid in full within 6 months after the date of the notice of intention
to acquire the Council may start the procedures for acquiring the
land in respect of which the overdue rates are not paid.
Council will end the procedures in the case of any of the lands
listed in the amount of the above schedule only where the
amount of the overdue rates and all expenses the Council
incurs in attempting to acquire the land are paid.
