Ideally situated, Enfidha-Hammamet International Airport lies in a strategic
location both locally and internationally, in a junction point between two of
the most important touristic resorts in Tunisia, Hammamet and Sousse,
renowned and much praised destinations by most European tourists.
No efforts are spared at Enfidha-Hammamet Airport to keep it running
at TAV high standards of operation and services. Its futuristic design,
modern technologies and baggage handling system, with a capacity of
4,500 luggage/hour, make it a highly efficient airport with less than 50
minutes turnaround time. The ground handling operations are equally
distinguished and have been certified ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management
and ISO 10002:2004 Customer Satisfaction and Complaint Management.
Enfidha-Hammamet Airport is not only operationally efficient but
environment-friendly as well. It is the first airport in Africa to be
awarded in 2013 the carbone accreditation at the mapping level and in
2014 at the Reduction level for its sustained efforts towards preserving
the environment and producing minimal CO2 emissions, and its trigeneration energy plant enables it to produce more than 90% of its
energy needs in heat, cold and electricity.
Additionally, the airport started in 2015 operating regular cargo flights in
collaboration with UPS Express Logistic toward Germany and Malta with
a daily capacity of 20 tons.
An environmental- friendly, highly efficient and quality service oriented
airport is your prime gateway to Tunisia to ensure a comfortable and
pleasant start of your vacation in Tunisia.
Waiting to make your journey in Tunisia even more enjoyable!
Sincerely,
Ilyess Kerfahi
General Manager, Operations

TAV IN BRIEF
TAV Airports is a success story built on the accumulation of knowledge,
experience and creativity gained in airport operations, one of the world’s
most challenging sectors. TAV’s history started in 1997 with the tender for
the Istanbul Atatürk Airport International Terminal. TAV Airports Holding
was established as a joint venture between the Tepe and Akfen groups,
who won the tender. Having grown to become a great success story within
a very short period of time, TAV soon became a global brand in airport
construction projects as well as airport operations; a brand new area,
thanks to its know-how, highly skilled human resources and advanced
technology. Having gone through a restructuring process in 2006 in line
with its goals, TAV re-organized its “operational” and “construction”
activities under TAV Airports Holding and TAV Construction. Following
this re-structuring process, TAV Airports Holding was opened up for
public offering in February 2007. In May 2012, 38 percent of TAV Airports’
shares was sold to Aéroports de Paris.
Today, TAV Airports, Turkey’s leading brand in the global airport
operations sector, operates Istanbul Atatürk, Ankara Esenboğa, Izmir
Adnan Menderes and Gazipaşa-Alanya Airports in Turkey. The Tbilisi and
Batumi Airports in Georgia, Monastir and Enfidha-Hammamet Airports
in Tunisia, Skopje and Ohrid Airports in Macedonia, Madinah Airport in
Saudi Arabia and Zagreb Airport in Croatia are also operated by TAV
Airports. Having undertaken the operation of the Milas-Bodrum Airport
domestic terminal in July 2014, TAV Airports will take over the operation
of the international terminal beginning in the final quarter of 2015. The
Holding also operates in other areas of airport operations including
duty-free, food and beverage, ground handling services, IT, security and
operation services. As part of these diversified services TAV Airports also
operates the duty-free, food and beverage and other commercial areas at
Riga Airport in Latvia. In 2014, the company provided services for 743,000
flights and 95 million passengers.

C H EC K- I N
Passengers are requested to arrive at the airport for check-in 1.5 hour
prior to domestic flights and 2 hours prior to international flights.
Please ensure that you have your ticket, valid passport and ID with you
when coming to the airport. Passengers with no ID will not be accepted
on board. It is obligatory for all passengers, including children and
infants, to present their ID during check-in procedures. Passengers
traveling with electronic tickets must ensure that they know the PNR
number and that they present a valid ID.
Baggage restrictions may vary for each airline. Information regarding
the number of bags and weight limitations can be obtained from the
airline with whom you are traveling. Electronic information monitors
above the counters and flight information screens within the terminal
display details on which counters you can check in.
Passengers must go to the relevant check-in counter with their ticket,
picture ID (valid passport, ID card) and luggage if any. Should a visa be
required for the destination country, the passport should bear the valid
visa. A label displaying the passenger’s name, telephone and address
must be put on the luggage.
Check-in staff must be advised of any hand luggage which should be
labeled as cabin luggage. Check-in staff checks the information on
your documents and issues a boarding card and baggage label as he/
she accepts your baggage. The baggage label is stuck on the ticket
and handed over to the passenger. A larger baggage label is tied to the
baggage and sent to the aircraft. The check-in procedure is finalized
when the check-in staff hands over the ticket, ID and the boarding card
to the passenger. The boarding card displays details such as the flight
number, departure gate number, boarding time and seat number.
