Managing odors caused by perspiration has been a long-time focus of bodily care. The daily
application of a deodorant is an essential step for both men and women. While the product
variety is abundant in terms of application and scenting, the active molecules are very similar
to each other. Triclosan acts as the reference active molecule, but today’s market demands
solutions that are more natural.
Here at Beauty Creations, we recognize that it is possible to combine effectiveness with
naturalness. This is precisely why we have created FreshaxylTM.
Specially designed for deodorant applications, FreshaxylTM is a plant-based, high-performance
alternative to synthetic anti-odor molecules.
Fresh and pure all day, in the most natural way in the world.
FreshaxylTM leverages all of Beauty Creations’ expertise in the development of active ingredients
used in bodily care products.
FreshaxylTM is a synergistic blend of two plant-based compounds: an extract from the Moringa
oleifera plant and glyceryl laurate.
FreshaxylTM works at two levels for optimal effectiveness: through its bactericidal activity, it slows
down the proliferation of microorganisms and Moringa oleifera extract, which is known for its
detoxifying properties, thus capturing odors.
The plant
Moringa oleifera is an exotic tree reaching 5 meters in height.
Originating from India, the plant grows in tropical and subtropical
regions mostly in Africa and Asia. In Africa it is called nabeday (from
‘’never die’’), or the drumstick tree due to its long pods. It produces
white flowers that bear fruit resembling long pods. These contain
sphere-shaped seeds with little wings.
The moringa is largely used in these regions for its nutritional (pods)
and medicinal (leaves and flowers) properties. The crushed seeds
are also known for their ability to purify dirty water, particularly from
Proven effectiveness
Perspiration in itself does not produce an odor. The formation of bodily odors is linked to the
development of bacteria present on skin.
The vast majority of these microorganisms are Gram + based, and the Corynebacterium remains
preponderant. These bacteria produce enzymes capable of decomposing different odorless
precursors that are present in sweat as part of odorous molecules.
FreshaxylTM's performance has been clinically proven in comparison to the leading reference
molecule on the market: triclosan.
Its bactericidal activity on the Gram + strains responsible for the apparition of bodily odors has
been demonstrated in vitro. FreshaxylTM reduces the proliferation of these bacteria as does
triclosan.
FreshaxylTM's effectiveness in vivo derives from this inhibitory ability.
The latter has been proven by a clinical study, in which FreshaxylTM not only significantly reduced
the production of bodily odors, but did so as efficiently as the leading molecule on the market.
FreshaxylTM is effective for 24 hours, starting at the very first application.

In vivo study.
Tested on two groups of 15 subjects. Daily application of a deodorant formula containing 0.40% FreshaxylTM or 0.25%
triclosanTM under the arms over 6 days, versus untreated. Sensory evaluation by a trained jury (5 people), evaluating
the intensity of the perspiration odor, as well as the hedonic value of the odor, 6 hours and 24 hours after 1 and 6
successive applications.
