TropicalClinics was founded in
2004 by Dr. Margaret Kilibwa as a
response to the lack of vital
medical resources in Kakamega,
Kenya and other rural areas of
developing nations.
At a dinner talk featuring Dr.
Margaret Kilibwa, students were
able to hear how the new
health clinic is efficiently bringing
essential care to Kakamega,
and the challenges that
TropicalClinics faces in these Ana Istrate ‘13 Ha Eun Kong ‘13
projects.

More Dinner Talks
In the coming year, we look forward to organizing
several dinner talks that will allow our fellow pre-meds
to engage with the issues our featured speakers are
involved in as well as to get to know the speakers in a
semi-intimate setting.
 5K Fundraising Run for the Tropical Clinics
Tropical Clinics, in conjunction with the Princeton
Premedical Society is organising a fundraising 5K run
in October. We would love to see you all involved!
 International Trip
Very much a project in
the works but we would
like to see it happen.

Is there any thing else you want
to see happen? Get in touch!
