Currently there is great interest in teaching goaltending technique, however
few effective training aids are available to assist coaches in analyzing proper
body positioning. GOALIES EYE “looks” at the net from the point
of view of the puck. It “sees” the three dimensional space of two different
triangles - from the puck to posts and the puck to goal line and crossbar.
From these parameters, it “reads” the open areas of net and “writes” an
image of that area to a screen for the player and coach to immediately assess.
