We are making the most of your money
We are getting on with the basics while doing new things to try to
make local life better. This includes working more closely with the
health service to look after older people, supporting children through
education, investing in roads and running the council in different ways
to make it more efficient.

* Dedicated Schools Grant, which funds school budgets and associated costs, is a provisional
allocation which will be adjusted once final pupil numbers are known.
Other services include such areas as Property, Finance, HR, ICT. It also includes a levy from
the Environment Agency (£0.3m).

more jobs are being created for people.
