ScanLink remote scan software creates a virtual scanner on remote desktop
sessions, and Cirtrix environments. It is composed of three main components:
ScanLink Server, ScanLink Host, and ScanLink Driver.
ScanLink server must always be installed on the hardware that will be acting
as the server. ScanLink host must be installed on each piece of hardware that
has or will have a scanner attached to it. Finally, the ScanLink driver must be
installed on the hardware that will be storing the scanned images. Once these
components are installed on the proper hardware, you will have centralized
control over a scanner network.
