Every two years, the “Swiss Kitchen Award” is presented to outstanding performance in Swiss kitchen
construction. In 2015 the silver medal was won by
the Aurélie kitchen from carpentry/joinery Späti Innenausbau AG. Swiss design and architecture office
atelier oï developed the Aurélie kitchen system together with Späti. It is oriented to working with food,
and transforms the requirements into a timelessly
minimalised design language.

location in the kitchen thanks to a built-in platter tier, and the light
strips around the extractor hood provide a warm atmosphere. Because of the simple design and the top quality fine design details,

a familiar focal point.
Another design element that has been cleverly implemented in this
kitchen are the sliding doors. This is where the EKU-CLIPO 16 GK

sliding door fitting has been installed. The door fronts are perforated and made from powder-coated metal. The hole pattern is
inspired by sparkling water. It only covers part of the internals of
the kitchen, and therefore arouses curiosity.
