Crizal Coatings are guaranteed in terms of the Crizal Warranty.
This guarantees the coating against cracking or peeling for the lifetime of the script
to a maximum of two (2) years.
A copy of the original invoice is to be included with the request.

Due to the delicate nature and high risk involved, Essilor SA will guarantee rimless fits
with Airwear and Ormix lenses, for one year, and provided the fitting was done by us,
the lenses are not damaged by Acetone or other solvents, and there are no signs of
deliberate abuse.
Plastic and all other lenses are fitted entirely at customer’s risk.
Tag Heuer frames are not suitable for Airwear. Please use Ormix instead.

With human nature being the way it is, if your patient cannot adapt to Varilux lenses
within 60 days, we will credit the lenses in full and supply you with single vision
or bifocal lenses instead.
Claims in terms of the Varilux Warranty (within 60 days) must include the lenses
to which the patient has failed to adapt, as well as copies of the original order
and the alternative correction order placed with Essilor SA.
Essilor SA reserves the right to verify measurements and other specifications contained
in the original order for the Varilux lenses in question. Please note that the Varilux
guarantee does not include prescription and fitting changes.
•
Essilor SA will only credit invoices for orders duplicated as a result of an Essilor SA error.
Orders for surfaced prescription lenses or cut stock lenses cannot be cancelled if the
lenses have been processed.
Overseas orders cannot be cancelled once we have placed the order.
FRAMES

Essilor SA will repair or replace frames damaged by us to a maximum of R2000
determined at cost price.
We cannot accept responsibility for patients’ own or used frames and these will be fitted
entirely at customer’s risk.

The above requires significant involvement from your personnel. Ultimate success
is highly dependent on their effort.
To help achieve a smooth and successful implementation we suggest you inform
your staff of any developments or changes.
CRIZAL SATISFACTION WARRANTY
TRANSITIONS ‘SATISFIED OR EXCHANGED’ WARRANTY

If your patient is not completely satisfied with Crizal, you may send the lenses back
within 60 days from invoice date.
We will credit the Crizal lenses in full and replace them with a pair of Supra coated
lenses at our normal catalogue price.
If your customer is not entirely SATISFIED with the photochromatic characteristics of
their lenses, they may EXCHANGE them for a clear pair, in the same design, material
and prescription of the first pair, within 30 days from date of invoice.
