PENGUIN PAM’S CHRISTMAS JOURNEY
The Christmas play by classes 3,4, 5 and 3KV
was brilliant—well done to all those involved, you were magnificent. Thank you to
Mrs Blitz and Mrs Beresford and to everyone else who helped.
CHRISTINGLE SERVICE
Please join us for our Christingle Service at St. Mary’s Church, Sturminster
Newton on Monday 14th December at 1.30pm. Please inform school and
transport if you intend to take your child home afterwards.
PRESENTS UNDER THE TREE
Thank you very much to everyone who sent in a gift for Home-Start (North Dorset). I know that the recipients will
be very grateful.
DONATIONS OF LIGHTS AND TREES
Our thanks must also go to Castle Gardens, Harts of Stur and Mole Country Stores for their very generous
donations of fairy lights and Christmas trees. The children had great fun decorating them.
STAFF NEWS
We will be saying good bye to Miss Drew and Mrs Whitefield next week. Miss Drew has been
covering IT and DT this term and Mrs Whitefield has been covering 4JR. We are welcoming Andrew
Morris and Tom Maher as permanent members of staff in these classes.
CHRISTMAS LUNCH AND PARTIES
Christmas Lunch is on Wednesday 16th and everyone will eat together. It’s always a fantastic meal (thanks to
Ruth and Sue in the kitchen). Pupils can wear their own clothes on this day. Class parties will be on Thursday in
the afternoon own clothes again. Please send in an item of party food or drink to share with class.
