An interview with
DAVID STUPAY
the new CEO of Opportunity Enterprises
Opportunity Enterprises (OE) has had a rich history over the last 46 years, evolving from a small class of 10
developmentally disabled children into the multi-faceted organization you see today. OE is continually evolving
and growing to better meet the needs of the community, and we are very excited about our future. It is with great
excitement that I would like to introduce you to our new CEO, David Stupay. The interview below will give you a small
glimpse of who David is and what makes him the perfect leader as we look to our next exciting period of growth.
— Ellen DeMartinis, Chief Operating Officer
New CEO David Stupay
and wife Vanessa
Q: Can you tell me a little bit about yourself and what
led you to OE?
A: From the time I was very young, I have always known that I
wanted to spend my life serving others. And fortunately, that’s exactly what I’ve been able to do. My journey has never been typical,
but each step has prepared me for the next. Five years ago, I never
envisioned myself in Valparaiso, IN, but today, I know that I’m exactly where I am supposed to be. I am thrilled to begin my service
at OE.
As I mentioned, my journey has not been typical. When I started college, I went in thinking that I would become a pastor. After
spending three years learning theology, leadership and community
development, I discovered that my passion was to serve others in a
capacity broader than in a church. Over the next few years, I earned
a business degree, as well as an MBA with an emphasis in nonprofit
management. When I graduated, I felt like my education had really
guided me to define my passion to serve the poor and marginalized, as well as equipped me with the skills to build, market and
grow profitable programs that will create positive change in my
community.
Q: Can you tell me more about your career path and
what you did prior to becoming CEO of OE?
2
A: My first job out of business school was with The Salvation
Army, where I served homeless individuals and people who were
recovering from various addictions. Being the Director of Operations was really great for me because I was able to see first-hand the
connection between the business side of a nonprofit and its ability
to serve people. The more effectively and efficiently the business is
run, the better service we are able to offer people in need. I realized that my business acumen, coupled with the nonprofit platform,
would allow me to live out my passion to serve others in the most
effective way possible. My time at The Salvation Army helped me
know that I had made the right decision about my education and
the direction of my career. To this day, I maintain a passion for serving people battling homelessness, and I remain a board member at
the Lincoln Park Community Shelter in Chicago.
After leaving The Salvation Army, I spent five years serving at a
disability provider in Chicago — the first three years as Director of Finance and Operations. In my last two years as Executive Director, we grew by 70%, launched two new programs and
were incredibly profitable. While I reflect upon these economic
indicators with great pride, the true joy of my time there was the
impact that we made in the lives of the people whom we served.
Q: What drew you to OE?
A: In my last position, I witnessed countless people overcome
incredible adversity and make remarkable strides in their development and quest for independence. They proved something
that I knew all along: people with disabilities can achieve so
much more than society expects.
It is this belief that drew me to OE because it, too, tirelessly
supports people with disabilities in order to reach their fullest
potential. I see that in our Lakeside Campus, our social enterprises and the many other programs you will read about in this
publication. The future of OE is bright, and I’m thrilled to be
a part of it.
Q: How do you envision the future of OE?
A: Our Lakeside campus is just beginning to come alive. Currently, there are two amazing buildings for programs and services in addition to an eight-unit apartment building, and that is
only the beginning of what our Lakeside Campus will become.
Housing continues to be a huge need across the disability community, and we are developing plans for additional apartment
buildings on that property. I am meeting with families in our
community to identify needs and service gaps so that we can
continue to expand our day services in ways that will have an
even greater impact on Northwest Indiana. With 157 acres to
develop, the sky is the limit for what our Lakeside Campus can
become.
Q: Okay, final question. What is something fun or
unique you can tell us about yourself?
A: A few years ago, I received a piece of advice: “To be a successful leader, you should do one significant new thing per year
that is hard and lonely.” At the time, I had no idea that this advice
would not only affect me professionally but also personally. In
fact, it changed my life.
Over the next year, I really embraced this leadership advice. I took
cooking classes, attempted to learn to speak Swahili, and even
took up photography. All of these newly acquired skills collided
when I had the opportunity to go to East Africa to teach and
support small business owners and develop medical and dental
programs in Tanzania and Uganda. I traveled into the villages for
hours every day, meeting villagers and photographing their lives.
The experience was amazing, so I chronicled my adventures on
Twitter for my family and friends to see. Over time, I actually
developed quite a following. One of those followers was named
Vanessa. We began commenting on each other’s stories, and over
time, tweets led to emails and ultimately to our first date — on
Skype. When I returned to the United States, I flew straight to
Colorado to meet her in person, and believe me, it was love at
first sight. Six months later, I married my beautiful wife Vanessa.
We have been married for 1 year now, and Vanessa has been the perfect partner for me. Her heart for service is as big as mine. So as I
take on this new adventure at OE, my support system is huge, and
she inspires me to keep doing and giving my best.
Our social enterprises are poised to grow and are among my favorite things at OE. I am incredibly proud of programming that
has the ability to provide meaningful work for people with disabilities while generating revenue that helps sustain the agency.
We are currently expanding our SecureShred service area to
triangulate from South Bend to Chicago and down to Indianapolis.
We are also working on plans to expand our geographical scope
for programming. While we will continue to maintain our
headquarters in Porter County and will provide a majority of
our services at our Porter County locations, there is a strong
need for our services across the entire region. While we do currently serve in a limited capacity in Lake and LaPorte Counties,
families are asking for more, and we will continue to focus our
expansion efforts to serve more people within these counties.
Stupay in the workshop with OE clients.
In the midst of this growth, I am committed to maintaining our
high standard of quality across all areas of programming — it is what
makes OE the amazing organization that it is and what sets us apart
from other service providers. Maintaining and raising our standard
of excellence in the midst of growth is paramount to our continued
success. OE has a rich history of providing quality services, and my
team and I take great pride in building upon the legacy of those
who have served before us.

Laurie Miller
AMAZING
PEOPLE
“Laurie is the embodiment of our mission;
she is self-sufficient with a great quality of
life. She came to us so many years ago
as a participant and now she’s come full
circle, lending her patience and a guiding
hand to others.”
Five days a week at 10:30 AM sharp, you will find Laurie Miller expertly setting up lunch at Daily Living Skills, Opportunity
Enterprises’ day services program for its most profoundly disabled participants. Laurie oversees lunchtime preparation with
extreme attention to detail; each place is set with a perfectly
folded apron and specialized eating utensils.
Laurie was born with encephalitis, a rare brain infection. She
achieved the developmental milestones of walking and talking,
but by age two, she began to experience blackouts. Once diagnosed, Laurie had to undergo brain surgery, and it took her
two years to regain her ability to walk, and she still struggles
with her speech.
As a child and teenager, Laurie attended the Special Education
Learning Facility in Valparaiso and then transitioned to become
a client at OE — first working in the supervised workshop and
later as a participant aide. Laurie received services from OE for
thirty years, until her tenure came to an end last year when she
learned that the State of Indiana was eliminating her funding.
Lisa Barrios, the manager of Daily Living Skills, remembers
playing with Laurie as a child at a playground in Kouts and
reconnected with her as an adult when Laurie started as a participant aide in her program. “Laurie was devastated when she
thought she could no longer help at OE,” says Lisa. “But she’s
come so far, and I jumped at the chance to hire her as a Direct Support Professional. The most exciting part of Laurie’s
promotion is the opportunity she’s been given to work individually with our participants on their goals. She is working
with two individuals right now who have flourished under
her watchful eye.”
During her time at OE, Laurie has also taken advantage of the
Supported Living Program. She graduated after eleven years
and is now a proud homeowner. “She lives in her own house
with her husband and four cats and the place is immaculate,”
brags Lisa. Laurie works with an advocate to manage her finances and takes pride in her independence.
“Laurie is the embodiment of our mission; she is self-sufficient
with a great quality of life,” says Colleen Rhoades,Vice President of Participant Services. “She came to us so many years
ago as a participant and now she’s come full circle, lending her
patience and a guiding hand to others.”
Her confidence shows in her smile, and she enjoys fantastic camaraderie with her colleagues at the Daily Living Skills program.
“Parents treat her with the same respect they pay to all of my
staff,” acknowledges Lisa. “Actually, they probably give her more
because in her they see the potential of their own children.”
Ann Barone
VOLUNTEER
PROFILE
Twelve years ago, Ann Barone gave birth
to her first son, Russell. Throughout the
pregnancy, she was so concentrated on
having a healthy pregnancy and a healthy
baby that she wasn’t prepared for Russell’s
birth. It was a difficult one, and as a result, he had low muscle tone and needed
physical therapy.
“I had never even heard of early intervention,” recalls Ann. “I was looking up
muscle tone online and found a barrage
of information on topics from low tone to
tightness and everything in between. I was
overwhelmed and scared.” Russell’s doctors referred Ann to Indiana’s First Steps,
and she chose Opportunity Enterprises’
All About Kids program as the provider for Russell’s physical therapy. After
10 months of therapy, Russell graduated,
having reached all of his developmental
milestones.
Two years later, Ann brought her second
son, Thomas, into the world. “I was hypersensitive to everything Thomas did
and didn’t do. I know kids can be quirky,
but I also saw a few behaviors that I felt
needed extra attention. I knew the power
of early intervention and wanted to make
sure Thomas had the best start in life.” After his initial evaluation, Thomas started
speech and occupational therapy with All
About Kids.
During Thomas’ time with All About
Kids, Ann was encouraged to enroll him
in the Toddler Playgroup. “Our therapist highly recommended this group for
Thomas, specifically for the good it would
do for his social and verbal skills. And
she was right!” Ann noticed Thomas’
confidence grow. He learned to use his
words, sit still and participate in group activities. Thomas participated for one year,
and when the time came, he was more
than ready for mainstream preschool.
One of Thomas’ first memories is of All
About Kids, Ann added. “He asked Miss

Val for a cookie, which was such a big victory considering his speech delays. And
because he loves treats, this memory has
stuck with him.”
“Today both of my boys are active and
thriving. You would never know they
needed a little extra help as babies.” Because of Ann’s experience as a parent, the
Porter County Special Education Interlocal asked her to sit on their board as a parent representative. She has written many
articles about transitioning children from
early intervention programs into mainstream preschools and is frequently asked
by parents for her recommendations on
community preschools. “I love being a
part of such a close knit community, and
I know other parents appreciate my willingness to give them honest advice about
where to send their children next.”
After Thomas graduated from All About
Kids, Ann began volunteering to help
with the sessions on Thursday mornings.
“We love Ann!” exclaims All About Kids
Director, Brenda Jankowski. “She is loyal,
reliable, willing to fill in on other mornings if we need her and so full of ener-
gy—a must-have for someone running
after a group of two-year-olds!”
The most rewarding part of Ann’s work
with All About Kids Toddler Group is
seeing graduates thriving in the community. “I run into my kids at the Boys and
Girls Club, in the grocery store and at my
boys’ events. There is nothing more satisfying than seeing the kids doing well, and
I’d like to think I’ve played some small
part in their success.”
The same year that Ann was introduced
to All About Kids, her mother-in-law encouraged her to join the Delta Theta Tau
Sorority, which hosts OE’s gala each year.
Long supporters of OE, the Deltas expanded Ann’s opportunities to give back.
“This year, I’m excited to be the chair of
the gala committee, and we are all excited
about the changes we’re bringing back
to the event. We’ve decided to move the
event to March for Disabilities Awareness
Month, host the event at Avalon Manor,
and go back to formal attire.” Because of
Ann and other faithful, creative volunteers, the gala promises to be another exciting event for OE.

LAKESIDE Update
In 2009, Opportunity Enterprises began the “One Year. One Challenge. Building OE Lakeside” campaign with the help of a dollar
for dollar challenge grant from the Dean and Barbara White Foundation. Thanks to the support of more than 700 individuals and
businesses throughout Northwest Indiana, we were able to raise nearly $3.9 million. In early fall of 2012, we broke ground on our
two-part project — a 19,000 square foot day services facility expansion and an eight-unit handicap-accessible apartment building.
Both projects are now completed. Our three non-vocational day programs are now operating in the day services facility, and the
apartment building is full, with a waiting list for a second building.

Jeff Qualizza is proud to be one of the twenty
residents who now call Lakeside home.
He moved into his apartment on May 1, 2013 with the help of
his mom and stepdad. Jeff chose to decorate his apartment with
Notre Dame memorabilia; he and his stepdad are season ticket
holders for the Fighting Irish and never miss a game. “I got to
ride in Lou Holtz’s car once,” bragged Jeff. “My stepdad talked
to him about me, and then he wrote me this letter.” Hanging
in a place of honor, Jeff has framed the letter from Lou, which
congratulates Jeff on overcoming adversity in life to get where
he is today.
“He has grown tremendously since he started working on
assembly jobs in the workshop more than 10 years ago,” said
his mom Linda. “Now he works as a member of the SecureShred team and loves going out to help pick up the paper. He
gets to interact with the community on a daily basis, and still
receives the specialized support he needs.”
6
When OE announced plans to build apartments at Lakeside,
Linda saw it as the next logical step in Jeff ’s journey. He just
turned 40, and this is the second time he’s moved away from
home. “The first time didn’t work out so well,” shared Linda.
“Jeff is so high functioning and so friendly and so eager to
make friends, but he got in with the wrong crowd.”
Jeff moved back home, and eventually Linda encouraged him
to try OE’s Respite program. “Respite proved to be a great
transition program for Jeff; it really was the missing link.”
When it came time for Jeff to move into Lakeside, Linda
admitted she still struggled with the decision emotionally.
“But I knew he was ready, and I want him to do well. I want
him to be independent and have somewhere safe for when
Michael and I are gone.”
Despite her concerns, Linda describes the transition as a positive one. “Sure, I will always worry about him, and I miss him
at home, but when I hear the pride in his voice and see how
well he is doing, I know our family made the right decision.”

Program Highlight
art enrichment at OE
Neil Samahon
BOARD MEMBER
PROFILE
Neil Samahon has a lot of titles: President
of Metro Recycling, Opportunity Enterprises Board Member, OE donor, OE
volunteer and OE staff advocate — just to
name a few. However, if you were to ask
Neil about the title he cherishes most, it
would be “father.”
For the 225 participants in Opportunity Enterprises’
Art Enrichment Program, time in the studio provides them with
an opportunity to learn and apply artistic skills, as well as to engage
their senses. Individualized and small group instruction creates the
optimal environment for exploration, self-expression and decision
making.
In addition, OE’s Art Enrichment Program gives artists the
opportunity to sell their art and earn commission. “Our artists
beam with pride with each sale of their glazed ceramics in our
Simply Amazing Market and with each framed painting sold at
our annual ARTability show in November,” said Carol Loesche,
Enrichment Manager. Through the Art Enrichment Program,
creativity becomes the vehicle for community members to gain
a deeper understanding of OE’s participants. Each work of art
advocates on behalf of its creator.
Neil’s daughter Ashley is developmentally
disabled, and it is his love for her that ignites
his passion for OE.
Two years ago, Neil was at a Valparaiso
Chamber of Commerce event and heard
about OE. “At the time, my wife Deb was
finishing her nursing degree, and we were
looking to relocate from the Chicago
Suburbs to Valparaiso.” Ashley was participating in some day programming
for adults with developmental disabilities in Southern
Illinois where she lived
with her mother, Neil’s
first wife. So when he
heard about OE, he
wanted to learn more.
Neil toured OE, and it
changed his life.
“I immediately had a
good feeling at OE,” Neil
said. “The demeanor of

the participants was wonderful. The whole
building had an atmosphere of warmth,
and the team was amazing. I couldn’t wait
to call Ashley and invite her to live with us
so that she could enroll at OE.”
Ashley loves coming to OE, where she
works in the Simply Amazing Market. “I
think this whole experience has been absolutely rewarding for Ashley. It makes her
feel productive, active and part of a community,” says Neil. Ashley participates
in cooking classes, is a member of the
Valparaiso YMCA, participates in Special
Olympics and has a big group of friends.
In a world where so many in Ashley’s shoes
feel a profound sense of isolation, OE has
changed her life.
Horizons. Neil remembers being envious
of Deb. “Each time she came home from
OE, she had another great story about the
participants — some with tears and great
compassion while others with great comedy, retelling the highlights of the day.
I felt like I was missing out and wanted
to find a way to volunteer for OE, too.”
So, this past year when Neil was invited
to sit on the Board of Directors, he agreed
without hesitation.
“I was so excited to get involved that it almost felt selfish because I knew what personal satisfaction I would receive,” admits
Neil. “But I also hoped that applying my

talents and prosper as a result. There is a good mix of professional talents, and I am lending mine to the Social Enterprises
sub-committee.”
OE recently expanded its sales team, and this means a great deal
to Neil, especially as a parent. “OE’s participants have an amazing work ethic, and they love to feel productive. Our ability to
provide them with work to do when they come in every day
changes the quality of their day and helps them feel purpose.
And of course, the financial benefits of having more work for
our participants are good on so many levels.”
Since joining the Board, Neil has learned so much about the
many facets of OE and immediately recognized an opportunity
for partnership between OE and his company, Metro Recycling
and Metro Auto Recycling. Metro has hired two individuals
through the JobSource Community Employment Division, and
it has been a perfect fit. “They take such pride in their work
and work space; they are enthusiastic about doing every portion
of their jobs,” says Neil. “I wish that everyone had that kind of
work ethic.”
Just recently, Neil had the opportunity to have dinner at one of
OE’s group homes. “I truly enjoyed my time with the group
and was so impressed by the staff ’s level of professionalism and
compassion and how they successfully navigate the delicate line
between the two.”
Neil and Deb have had and continue to have a great impact
on OE. Not only do they give of their time and talents, but
they also look for opportunities to show the staff how much
they are appreciated. “For those who are invested in OE, they
truly love what they do, and they are such quality human beings. When I was approached by OE to sponsor one of their
annual events, the sponsorship menu listed an opportunity to
support the staff picnic. That really caught my eye. Thanking
the individuals who make Ashley’s success possible is something my wife and I are passionate about, so we personally
sponsored the event. I felt it was the most appropriate gift we
could give back.”

OE MARATHON
RUNNER
George Nietert
Accounting Manager
Laciak Accountancy Group
From June to October, the streets of Porter and Lake Counties are inundated with
dedicated runners putting in their miles
to train for the Bank of America Chicago
Marathon on behalf of Opportunity Enterprises. George Nietert has been part of
the Porter County team since it began 15
years ago.
Looking back, George remembers seeing
in the newspaper that OE was recruiting runners for the Chicago Marathon.
George was always an athlete in high
school but had only recently gotten back
into running, occasionally competing in
short races. He was intrigued by the idea
of running a marathon and knew that OE
was a great cause.
“I met so many good people in the running community and learned so much
about the sport,” recalls George. After 8
years, he was approached to manage the
training program and was excited to meet
the challenge. Due to the increase in runners, George added additional routes in
Washington Township, Coffee Creek and
the Dunes. He and fellow runner Tom
Doherty worked to bring speed work
sessions every Tuesday and offer running
classes for YMCA members.
“Everyone in our community
knows that OE does good work,
but you don’t really understand
until you take a tour... I was so
glad that I did.”
Despite his hectic schedule (he teaches
classes at the YMCA and math at Winamac Junior High), George is passionate
about the OE Running Program and sees
it continuing to grow and flourish. He
recognizes the depth of community support OE receives from OE runners and
their families through fundraising and
general awareness and is proud to say that
all three of his children, sons Arrick and
Michael and daughter Laura, have run the
Chicago Marathon for OE.
“George’s dedication to the sport and to
the mission of OE has played a huge role
in sustaining and growing the program.
The OE runners have raised over $1.5
million in the last 15 years, and the impact
of those donations is seen across all of our
programs,” said OE President and CEO
David Stupay. “George’s passion for running is addictive, so much that he’s even
convinced me to run the marathon next
year!”
“OE has been so supportive of us as runners, and I try to really support their efforts
as well,” says George. “From attending the
team callouts in January to encouraging
runners to take a tour of OE, it’s all about
connections with people.”
Running is about so much more than the
miles you accumulate. It is about building relationships with your fellow runners,
and George has worked extremely hard
to build a sense of teamwork. “We all lead
such busy lives, myself included, but I have
really started seeing more of our runners
staying after they’ve finished their runs to
welcome in the rest of the team as they
finish. We all earned the same medal in
October; we’re all fundraising for the same
great organization. I work really hard to
teach our runners that they have more in
common than they have differences.”
According to George, “everyone in our
community knows that OE does good
work, but you don’t really understand
until you take a tour. Everyone I spoke
with encouraged me to tour OE, and I
was so glad that I did. All of the participants have such positive attitudes, and I
try to stop by and say hi to them every
chance I get. Seeing the participants puts
everything into perspective and reminds
me why I do this year after year. Getting sore muscles is nothing compared to
what they go through every day.”

RESPITE (continued)
Staffed with Direct Service Professionals (DSPs) 24 hours
a day, seven days a week, OE’s respite homes allow parents and caregivers time for themselves while DSPs provide individualized attention for their loved ones.
RESPITE
SERVICES
Opportunity Enterprises is in a tremendous season of growth. We are serving more
participants than ever and are widening our geographic footprint. As we grow, we
are talking to families of individuals with developmental disabilities from across the
region and are repetitively hearing the great need for respite services.
Imagine the pressure that comes from being a 24/7 caregiver with no ability to have a night or weekend away. Mental
fatigue and exhaustion are the norm. As OE grows, we have had countless conversations with families across the region, and without a doubt, this conversation rises to the surface. Families of individuals with disabilities are desperate
for respite services where they can be assured that their loved one is being cared for in a home away from home while
they can get away for a day, night or even a weekend.
Although OE purchased a respite home in 2009 in Jackson Township, the need was so great that people were forced
to be put on waiting lists. In fact, the demand has grown by 80% since the house opened, with families traveling from
Lake, LaPorte, Jasper, Newton and Starke counties. To meet this increased need, OE just purchased a home in October of 2013, in Merrillville that is currently undergoing renovations and will open in December of 2013, to serve
as OE’s newest respite house.
12
“Caregiver burnout is a very real issue and our respite
home gives these families the gift of rejuvenation,” shares
Christi Brooks, Respite Manager. “Parents who are taking advantage of the respite program are reporting lower
levels of stress and improved marital quality. We have
couples who have not taken a vacation in twenty years.
They can refill their tanks while they are away, whether it
is for a couple of hours or a week, and when they come back,
they are ready to be the attentive mother or father again.”
The respite house is also a haven for its participants. They
are treated to themed camps every other weekend and
trips into the community nearly every day. “For many
of our folks, this is their first time away from Mom and
Dad,” explains Christi. “They generally start off nervous
and shy, but by their third or fourth trip, they feel right at
home. As staff, we take pride in the fact that our home is
the first place parents have felt comfortable leaving their
child because they know that they are receiving the best
care available.”
Respite is also an excellent transitional program for men
and women who are still living at home. Time spent at
the respite home provides both participants and their
families with an introduction to a more independent living environment prior to choosing supported living or a
group home permanently.
“Adding this new respite home is a very strategic move
for OE for many reasons,” shares David Stupay, CEO of
OE. “It fills an unmet need in the community, further
expands our footprint in Lake County, and from a financial perspective, respite is one of our best performing
programs. One of my criteria for all new programs is that
they must become self-sustaining within one year. The
great news about respite is that it hits that benchmark
within 10 months.”
Investing in our future is so important to the men and
women we serve, and we must do so as good stewards
of our own assets and our community support. Our investment in the new respite home is a catalyst for future
endeavors across the agency. As OE continues to grow
and expand our impact in the region, the excess revenue
provided by each new project will fund future expansion
into even more impactful and profitable endeavors.
“As staff, we take pride in the fact that our
home is the first place parents have felt
comfortable leaving their child because
they know that they are receiving the best
care available.”
— Christi Brooks, Respite Manager

ROOTS PROMISE
of
As a thriving organization that has stood
the test of time, Opportunity Enterprises
is dedicated to maximizing the selfsufficiency and the quality of life for
individuals with disabilities for generations
to come. One way you can help us do that
is by considering leaving a lasting legacy
for OE with a planned gift.
Planned giving provides a future gift to
OE through your financial and estate
plans. This gift will not only provide for
the future of OE, but it can also:
Provide for you or
your loved ones
Entitle you to charitable
income and/or gift or
estate tax deductions
Give you the peace of mind knowing
that the OE of today will be around
for generations to come
If you include OE in your estate plans,
we would like to show you our appreciation by including you in our honorary giving society, The Roots of Promise Circle. The Roots of Promise Circle,
the planned giving society of OE, was
founded in 2005 to honor those who
have chosen to support OE with the
lasting legacy of a planned gift.
It is the support of generous people like
you that has allowed OE to grow into the
amazing organization that it is today. And,
it is this support that will provide the foundation for the OE of future generations.
THERE ARE MANY WAYS TO
GIVE
Set up a Charitable Gift Annuity.
This type of investment will offer
you a stream of income while
gifting the principal balance to
the programs that you wish to
support at OE.
Make a gift that will truly last
forever to OE’s Endowment Fund.
All gifts made to OE’s endowment
fund through the Porter County
Community Foundation will be
invested, so the principal of the
account is never withdrawn and
the interest it earns is used to
support programs and services.
Name OE as a beneficiary of an
existing life insurance or retirement
account.
