AIRPORT TRANSPORTATION / ACCESS
Tucked away amidst the gardens and sea, Anantara Rasananda Koh Phangan Villas feels a world away but is
only a 40 minute speedboat ride from the nearby island of Koh Samui.
Flight Services
Koh Samui International Airport offers direct and connecting flight services to destinations all over the world.
Getting to and from the airport
Your host will greet you at Koh Samui Airport and from there escort you to our lounge facility in Bangrak,
where you can relax and enjoy complimentary refreshments prior to your journey to Koh Phangan. The trip
across the channel only takes 40 minutes, landing on the soft sands right in front of Anantara Rasananda
Koh Phangan Villas, subject to weather conditions. Public ferries are also an option, which will transport you
to Thong Sala Pier on Koh Phangan. At the pier you will be greeted by your host and taken on a 30 minute
scenic mountain drive across the island through lush forests to the resort. THB 2,400 per person roundtrip or
THB 1,200 per person one way.
Koh Samui Transfer Services
Scheduled Speedboat - THB 4,200 per person roundtrip or THB 2,600 per person one way. The current
daily schedule for shared speedboat journeys departs from Koh Samui at 11:30 am and 4:30 pm, and from
Anantara Rasananda Koh Phangan Villas at 9:30 am and 1:30 pm. The crossing takes approximately 40
minutes.
Private Speedboat – THB 24,000 roundtrip or THB 13,000 one way per boat for a maximum of 6 persons.
Includes sparkling wine and canapés onboard. Available upon request from dusk to dawn, subject to weather
conditions.
Public Ferry - THB 2,500 per person roundtrip or THB 1,800 per person one way. Includes land transfer
on Koh Samui, ferry ticket and land transfer on Phangan. There are 3 companies operating public ferry
services between Koh Samui and Koh Phangan at various times, the latest of which departs Koh Samui
at 6:00 pm.
All above modes of sea crossing include a car pick up and drop off service between Anantara Rasananda's
pier and Koh Samui International Airport, as well as from hotels in central Chaweng and Bang Rak. For all
other areas of Koh Samui an additional charge applies and varies according to the location.
Luxury Yacht Transfer
Alternatively, begin your journey in true Anantara style with the option of a private transfer aboard our
luxury yacht the Minor Affair. Toast the start of your stay in paradise with champagne on the deck and enjoy
sumptuous Thai cuisine. Cruise at a leisurely pace through crystal clear waters, enjoying breathtaking views
