Relax as you cruise through the spectacular scenery
of the Inside Passage. Keep your cameras ready for
spouting whales, soaring eagles, barking seals, and

DAY 1 Arrive in Vancouver BC.
Welcome to Vancouver, your gateway to the
Canadian Rockies! At 6 pm, meet your travelling
companions for a welcome drink.
DAY 2 Vancouver.
Tour Vancouver, including the Waterfront,
Chinatown, and Stanley Park with its old-growth
evergreen forests and totem poles. The remainder
of the day is free to explore Vancouver at your
leisure. (B)
DAY 3 Vancouver - Rocky Mountaineer Kamloops.
Board the ROCKY MOUNTAINEER and travel
through the fertile fields of the Fraser Valley, past the
towering Coast Mountains and into the dusty desert
hills to historic Kamloops. (B, L)
DAY 4 Kamloops Rocky Mountaineer - Banff.
DAY 6 Banff - Lake Louise.
See one of the crown jewels of the RockiesMoraine Lake and the Valley of the Ten Peaks.
Here, 10 mountain peaks soar above 10,000 feet
and surround the tranquil waters of the lake. Later,
in Lake Louise, enjoy the beauty, romance, and
serenity of this famous location. (B, D)
DAY 7 Lake Louise Columbia Icefield - Jasper.
Travel on the Icefields Parkway past towering peaks
and hanging glaciers to JASPER NATIONAL PARK.
View sapphire Peyto Lake, ride an ICE EXPLORER
on the 1,000 foot thick Athabasca Glacier, and see
thundering Athabasca Falls. (B, D)
DAY 8 Jasper - Sun Peaks.
Departing Jasper, watch the scenery unfold while
travelling the Yellowhead Highway along the Fraser
and Thompson Rivers to Sun Peaks. Pass regal
Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian
Rockies. (B)
DAY 9 Sun Peaks - Whistler.
Back aboard the ROCKY MOUNTAINEER, journey
east along the South Thompson River, towards
Rogers pass with its sparkling glaciers and climb
through the historic Spiral Tunnels to Banff National
Park. (B, L)
This morning, travel past some of the most
beautiful and rugged lakes and mountains in British
Columbia. This afternoon, we arrive in Whistler-one
of Canada’s newest and most exciting mountain
resorts, and host of the 2010 Winter Olympics. (B)
DAY 5 Banff.
DAY 10 Whistler - Victoria.
This morning, tour the highlights of Banff: Bow Falls,
Tunnel Mountain, and Surprise Corner. Enjoy your
choice of activities and take a leisurely NATURE
WALK with a picnic lunch or enjoy AFTERNOON
TEA at the Banff Springs Hotel. (B, L, D)

SQUAMISH
LIL’WAT CULTURAL CENTRE, dedicated to the
history and culture of the First Nations people.
Board a BC FERRY for a cruise to Vancouver Island

DAY 15 Cruising: Skagway
Step back in time and stroll the wooden sidewalks
of Skagway, preserved as a national historic park.
Once a major port for gold prospectors who passed
through en route to the Yukon, today you can still
ride the antique White Pass & Yukon Route narrowgauge railway. (B, L,D)
DAY 16 Scenic Cruising: Glacier Bay
This Biosphere Reserve and UNESCO World
Heritage Site protects a unique ecosystem of
plants and animals living in an ever-changing glacial
landscape. Here, witness an amazing spectacle of
thunder as tremendous slabs of ice break off and
“calve” into the sea. (B, L, D)
DAY 17 Cruising: Ketchikan.
Experience Native Alaska firsthand. Meet the spirits
of the raven, whale, and eagle and view the largest
collection of totems in the world. Or, explore Creek
Street, with its contemporary art galleries and quaint

DAY 18 Scenic Cruising: Inside Passage.
Cruise through the beautiful and awe-inspiring
scenery of the Inside Passage. (B, L, D)
