April 2015
As Easter arrives early this year, we will be saying arrivaderci to some of our seasonal
members. Hopefully you enjoyed the activities at the Club over the Fall & Winter and
are looking forward to returning later this year. Remember, if you want to keep up with Club news, access the website (above) & check your
email for occasional updates that I will be sending out. If we don’t have your email on file, please let me know by sending an email to
[email protected]. There was a great turnout for last months events, nice to see member participation. There
are some exciting events coming up– Jimmy Mazz Dinner Show to benefit Bocce, Member & Guest Beach Party at the pavilion by Sharkey’s
(a sellout for sure) & the Venice Symphony will be bringing some musicians to the Club for a sample of what they will be performing at the
“Amo Venezia” concert in May at the Performing Arts Center. We are lucky to have them at our facility, thanks to Diane for setting it up!
Watch for new members joining at the next meeting, we are now working on the waiting list. Enjoy a blessed Easter.
Ciao, Bruce

**Compliments were many! **The soda bread was “to die for”!
Tom
at
Epiphany Cathedral was well attended by about
50 members. This annual mass is celebrated in
Italian and readings were done by Marino Roncari
& Nancy Canto. In keeping with tradition, the
congregation enjoyed the breads & biscotti
provided by the club, after the services.
Joe DiMarco thanks all who attended & especially
those who helped make the bread. Mille Grazie.
This month’s list for General Meeting goodies is N to Z.
Everyone appreciates your “sweet” contributions! Grazie.
