ÌUndergraduate Degrees
Bachelor of Arts (General)
The Bachelor of Arts (General) Degree program is
available on-campus, entirely through distributed
learning or a combination of both.
The General Programs in Arts offer you the greatest
flexibility in course selection. These programs do
not specify particular required courses. Instead,
they allow you to design your degree by giving
you the opportunity to select courses from a broad
range of disciplines in the Humanities, Social
Sciences, and Sciences.
The General Program is ideal for those who wish
a broad education at the university level, or those
who want to see what university study has to
offer before committing to a particular major or a
particular discipline.
Should your interests change as you move through
the program, or should you decide you want to
focus on a particular area of study, it is possible to

majors.
There’s nothing wrong with not knowing what i
is you want to study at university. You might be
surprised at the number of students who come
to university uncertain about their studies during
first year. The really important decision is the one
you have already made: you’ve decided to get a
university education.
