DEATH NOTICES
Pravin Singh Bhakuni “Doc”, age 38,
of Copley, OH died Friday,
September 14, 2007 on the
Appalachian Trail in Pennsylvania.
He was born in India on September
13, 1969.
He worked as an Attorney and
Counselor at Law and was a Desert
Storm Veteran with the US Marine
Corps. Pravin was a member of Boy
Scout Troop 382, the Akron Bar
Association, Ohio Bar Association,
American
Bar
Association,
University of Akron Adjunct Faculty,
and the VFW.
He is preceded in death by members
of his loving family in India. He is
survived by his wife, Kara
McLaughlin Bhakuni; parents, Roop
and Rosa Bhakuni, sisters and
brothers-in-law, Nila Bhakuni and
Craig Bigenho of Houston, TX, Tara
(Bhakuni) and Dave Scott of Bath,
OH, Sarita Bhakuni and Scott
Chalmers of Chicago, IL, and Maya
and Jim Mills of Atlanta, GA; brother
and sister-in-law, Girdhari and
Bhagawati Bhakuni of Golakote. He
is also survived by sisters, Lali,
Madhu, Hema and many nieces and
nephews across the world.
Funeral services will be held at
10:00 am Thursday, September 20,
2007 in the Bokas Funeral Home,
3653 West Market St., Akron, OH
44333. Cremation will follow services.
Friends may call 3-8 pm
Wednesday at the funeral home.
