BOB SIKES INDUSTRIAL AIRPARK
Bob Sikes Industrial Air Park offers more than 210 acres in the
northern section of Okaloosa County, near Interstate 10. The air park,
which includes comprehensive airport facilities capable of handling
large aircraft, thrives as a central location for businesses including major
Department of Defense contractors and international aircraft modification
companies. The public use airport, owned and operated by Okaloosa
County, provides general aviation services for corporate aviation, air taxi
service and military operations to nearby Eglin AFB, Hurlburt Field and
Duke Field. In addition, the Emerald Coast Advanced Research Network
has established an advanced fiber optic network in Okaloosa County that
is connected to the Florida LambdaRail backbone, making LambdaRail
capabilities easily accessible.
