Free and open to the public, FreshCoast Fest is your chance to check out
rooftop gardens, one of Wisconsin’s first Eco-Industrial Parks, and other
fascinating innovations that are helping to protect our lakes and rivers.

Rain gardens help manage stormwater runoff and rainfall through their
design and use of native vegetation and other plants. Functional meets
floral! One lucky winner will receive a custom-designed rain garden
installed on their property. Enter to win at participating tour locations (see back for list).

Experience a live “Storm Water Event” at
5:00pm in a state-of-the-art water filtration
demonstration at the Reed Street Yards
public plaza on Freshwater Way. Dirty canal
water is filtered, aerated and pumped
through a series of cascading streams and
delivered clean back into the canal.
