`M A WORK IN PROGRESS. I NEVER SETTLE

I
’m a work in progress.
I’ve always had a passion for classical art,
though I really couldn’t draw what I saw
in my head. The camera became a way to get
my vision out. From my first camera at the age
of 12 to switching majors (so I could stay with
photography) to my most recent portrait session,
I’m always thinking about what I’m going to
do and try next. I joined PPA for the education
and worked hard to master the photographic
fundamentals until they became second nature.
The basics are there, freeing me up to be more
creative and design sessions specifically to each
client. My “work in progress” philosophy is
probably why photographic competition has
become one of my favorite benefits. It’s a personal
challenge. You compete against yourself…and
I never settle for
good enough.
