DRUM LINE BATTLE is an event from Drum Corps International which showcases marching percussion ensembles of any instrumentation and
any skill level year-round. This exciting event spotlights unique talent and creativity in a high energy, face-to-face competition.
DRUMS on the OHIO will be accepting four (4) teams on a first come, first serve basis. Please respond to us as quickly as possible!
REGISTRATION DEADLINE: Friday, May 20, 2016
Drum Corps International requires any drum line group performing to pay a $100.00 non-refundable deposit. Once your application and deposit
is received, Team DCI will contact you to work through any preliminary questions and then will approve your organization to continue on to the
registration process. DCI will be able to offer you a Participation Agreement for specific events in which you have been approved to participate,
issue your final performer release forms and a final invoice for fees and packages. You will follow up with DCI with Participation Agreement, releases
for all participants and any invoice balance so that DCI can lock you into event schedules of approved events. Once you perform at DRUMS on the
OHIO, you will receive a reimbursement of that $100.00 deposit, courtesy of DRUMS on the OHIO and H&H Music.
As part of your participation in the DRUM LINE BATTLE, your group will receive FREE GENERAL ADMISSION to the show along with a
FREE T-SHIRT. Also, there will be the following prizes in addition to the $100.00 reimbursement:
1st Place: $300
2nd Place: $200
3th Place: $100
4rd Place: $100
After the competition, you will receive the $100.00 deposit back plus the prize money, not to mention bragging rights! If you would like
to participate, please fill out the Team Application, and return the form along with your $100.00 deposit to the following address:

your spot at our show. Once your application has been approved, your group will be eligible to perform not only at DRUMS on the OHIO, but any
other DRUM LINE BATTLE competition, including the competition held at DCI World Championships in August.
The $100.00 deposit (Membership Fee) is new this year and will provide each participating group with a number of benefits:
• Live performance opportunities in front of ready-made audiences of passionate, knowledgeable and supportive fans of the marching arts.
• Invitations to perform in virtual performance opportunities with other ensembles from around the world.
• Your members qualify to register for the 2016 DCI Performer's Showcase presented by System Blue during DCI World Championships Week in Indianapolis.
• Promotion through Drum Corps International's enormous worldwide marketing and promotions outreach with recognition and promotion on the Drum Line Battle website and
social media outlets.
• Permission to use authorized Drum Line Battle logos and approved marketing guidelines to promote your participation in the Drum Line Battle universe (provided on request).
