I know it’s been awhile, but what was your favorite
Super Bowl commercial? Those of you who know me
even a little bit can probably guess which one was near
and dear to my heart: it was most certainly the Ram
Truck commercial - “So God Made a Farmer.” This was
a powerful message with images to match. America’s
response has been favorable and the best part is that
the Ram brand has pledged continued support for the
National FFA Foundation (formerly Future Farmers
of America). Founded in 1928, FFA’s mission is to
educate tomorrow’s agricultural community, including
future farmers, biologists, veterinarians, engineers,
and entrepreneurs. I participated in FFA programs
as a youth and now my daughter is involved in FFA
and has benefitted from her participation. Simply visit
this link www.ramtrucks.com/en/keepplowing, watch
the video, share a badge, and Ram Trucks makes a
donation. The goal is to raise $1 million to support FFA
and assist in local hunger and educational programs.
Lucky Members
in Ireland
Twenty-four Four Seasons Club members
and guests took the golf trip of a lifetime to
the picturesque island of Ireland. Over the
course of eight days, the group hit the links
on four of the world’s top 100 golf courses,
stayed in gorgeous accommodations in the
southwest corner of the island and indulged
in delicious local cuisine and drink. The best
part? The friendships these members forged
together on their visit to the Emerald Isle.
And they’re already planning another trip
“across the pond.”
Just like Ram Trucks, I hope your pictures and images
of Crystal are equally inspiring and I look forward to
hearing your stories at Member Happy Hour every
Friday from 6-8.
Sincerely,
A Proud Farmer’s Daughter

The inaugural Michigan PGA
Hammock Beach Pro Am was
held in January at the beautiful
Hammock Beach Resort, 30 miles
north of Daytona. Taking place over
three rounds, 54 holes, and on two
different Hammock Beach courses,
the competition hosted 15 teams
from golf clubs across Michigan.
Representing Crystal Mountain, PGA
professional Scott Wilson, amateur
member Wayne Bauman and guests
Tom Albrecht and Chris “Wee Man”
Abruzzo took home the title. The
foursome came from three shots
behind the leader on the last day
to cinch the victory by one shot.
“We truly had a great time together
on this trip,” said Scott. “The fact
that we won the event was just
icing on the cake.”

“Watching the kids grow up together here through the years, learning
to ski, play golf, and enjoy quality time with family and friends has been
the best part about ownership,” said Dave. “We recently purchased a lot
in Mountainwoods and hope to build a retirement home here as well.”
Dave has worked for General Motors for 34 years and is currently
the Executive Chief Engineer for Luxury Performance Vehicles. His
Cadillac ATS received the 2013 North American Car of the Year award
in January – a first for Cadillac and certainly an honor for him and his
team.
Cindy is currently a full-time homemaker and is planning weddings
with both daughters for this November and the following May.
“Our future sons-in-law, Ryan and Andy, love Crystal,” said Cindy.
“It’s a great place to continue making memories.”
