Brentwood, by Jason Adam Klosowicz, is part of the Images of America Series by Arcadia Publishing. It’s the first historical work about
Brentwood since Verne Dyson’s A Century of Brentwood was published in the 1950s. While most of the images used in Brentwood were
supplied by the Brentwood Public Library from its History Collection, others were provided by various collectors and organizations.
Brentwood reveals a look at our community’s growth from Thompson Station and Modern Times to today. Other chapters focus on St.
Joseph’s Convent and Academy, Pilgrim State Hospital, and the Brentwood School District.
Jason is a local, life-long resident, a past member and historian of the Brentwood Historical Society, and is currently a member of Phi Alpha
Theta Historical Honor Society, and the Bay Shore Historic Society.
Join us for this fascinating look into how Brentwood grew and evolved into the community it is today.
