Is it possible, it's the Holiday
Season akeady? Thanksgiving has
passed, and as I write this Hanukkah
has started, Christmas and New Years,
along with several other newer holidays
are quickly approaching. Seems to me
that time moves faster after retirement,
well just so I don't miss the
opportunity, I would like to wish all our
members, Happy Hanukkah, Merry
Christmas, and a Happy New Year.
May the year be filled with Good Health, Wealth, and
ær€.-=!=:3
Love, may our friendship new and old be cherished.
As to club business, it is with a sad heart that I must
advise you the AGM 2016 Cruise has been cancelled due
to lack of interest by all but l0 people. I had been asked
by many if we could have another AGM on a Cruise since
the2O06 was so much fun, but unfortunately I guess those
people were in the minority.
A land AGM takes lots of time, planning and work,
and I am unable to reschedule for 2016. My plan is to
start working on AGM 2017 early next year. I am looking
at San Antonio, Texas which is a beautiful city with lots of
history 6fl things to do.
Looking forward, the old TWA Terminal at JFK is
being converted into a boutique hotel, which is scheduled
to open in 2018. The Terminal is being preserved, I
assume to be used for banquet halls, restaurants, meeting
space and shops, while 2 six story towers are to be built
behind the terminal for hotel rooms. I will continue to
follow the progress and am hoping to hold AGM 2018
there. I am giving you all a heads up so you have time to
plan especially for New York as this tends to be a more
expensive city in which to hold a convention. Looking at
the calendar, I would plan for San Antonio to begin either
March 30 or April 6, thus avoiding a conflict with all the
religious holidays. I hope the hotel is open so we can hold
our convention between April 8 and April 30, again
avoiding a conflict with all religious holidays. ffthe hotel
does not open until later in the year we will scramble to
change the dates to make it agreeable to both the club and
the hotel.
I have written a rather lengthy article (page I & 2)
pertaining to problems with the new www.retirees.com
webiste, I suggest you clip and save it as it has lots of
useful information. I will continue to update you each
time a major change occurs in the website or in our
benefits. Again, I wish you all a Blessed Holiday Season.
Up, Up and Away..

YOUR GUIDE TO UPDATES AND NON.
REV TRAVEL EFFECTIVE OCT. 17,2015
Gopy and Save, there is much info here
which will make your life simpler.
This won't be the end-state system, but will tide us over
until we have a new one that incorporates the best of both
Travel US and NRTP. On Oct 17,2015, non-rev travel
was moved to one interim system. We say interim
because the team is hard at work creating an end-state
travel system.
Action required
Retirees will now need to register their guest pass
riders prior to booking a guest pass in NRTP. You
may register up to 12 (D3 boarding priority) guests in
your NRTP profile. They may be your extended
family members or your personal acquaintances.
Once registered, your guest travelers must remain
on your list for a minimum of 12 consecutive months.
Please note that you do not have to enroll all of your
guests at one time; you may add additional guest
travelers throughout the year provided you have
available slots. You may begin adding your guest
travelers to NRTP on Oct. 8,2015.
