Programs and Services
Broker Meetings
As a broker you are looked at by your agents as the go to for all things real estate. NSDCAR has created
broker meetings to keep you informed on new legal requirements, advocacy issues and to make sure you
are informed.
Five Convenient Service Center Locations
Service Centers are conveniently located in Carlsbad, Carmel Valley, Escondido, Fallbrook and Vista.
Marketing Meetings for Residential and Commercial Properties
NSDCAR provides residential marketing meetings and tours each week throughout North County. Commercial marketing meetings are held each month for agents to pitch their commercial haves and wants.
Vista Member Center
Our Vista Service Center provides members with a full-service Member Center that includes a computer
and printer, and private meeting rooms for meeting clients or holding meetings.
Member Meeting Rooms
Whether you’re meeting with your clients, or are having team meetings, members have access to
conference rooms, computers and Sentrilock docking stations at all service centers.
NSDCAR Portrait Program
Have your portrait taken by a professional at the NSDCAR Portrait Studio for a minimal fee.
NSDCAR Video Program

NSDCAR Online Store
Need to buy a sign but it’s after 5:00? Go online at nsdcar.com and make your purchase through the

NSDCAR REALTOR® Rewards
Get a REALTOR® Bucks Card at any NSDCAR Store. Once you fill up your card you’ll receive rewards

Professional Standards, Mediation, Arbitration, Ombudsman and Ethics Enforcement
NSDCAR provides agents with the opportunity to resolve disputes through mediation, allowing parties to
save time, energy and expenses associated with litigation. Ombudsman assists with identifying and
resolving misunderstandings and disagreements before escalation occurs.
Risk Reduction Program
NSDCAR has introduced the RRP Program to help reduce member exposure to litigation. Members have
access to up-to-date articles, videos and legal updates provided by local real estate attorneys and agents.

Four Districts
What is unique to NSDCAR is our district structure. Each district represents a geographic area covered by
NSDCAR. These districts allow members to focus on specific areas for networking, promoting properties,
getting involved in communities and much more.
The Commercial Division
NSDCAR’s Commercial Division is designed to provide commercial agents and those looking to add
commercial to their practice a place to network, learn and share available properties or
client needs.
The Young Professionals Network
NSDCAR’s Young Professionals Network was established in order to encourage younger real estate
professionals to become involved with the association. The YPN group provides members of all ages with
educational programs, fun networking events and helps to foster the sharing of ideas between new and
established real estate professionals alike.

Advocacy
Candidate and Issue Forums
NSDCAR hosts candidate forums during voting season, providing opportunities for members to meet the
candidates running for office. Additionally, when an important issue comes up we provide a place to
discuss it with those making the decisions.
Governmental Affairs Department
NSDCAR’s Government Affairs program provides advocacy on issues affecting private property rights and
issues that impact REALTORS® and the housing market, as well as issues that affect your ability to do
business.
The Beacon Advocacy Newsletter
Stay up-to-date with The Beacon newsletter, you’re bi-weekly real estate advocacy resource. The Beacon
is designed to keep you aware of important issues and to help you understand the power of the REALTOR®
Voice, and the value of the REALTOR® Advocacy program.
Meet Your Mayor
In 2012 a program was started to connect NSDCAR members with North County Mayors. These meetings
allow members to ask questions and gain insight into the future of North County.
Voter Registration Drives
During election years, NSDCAR conducts a voter registration drive, encouraging members to register to
vote by distributing registration forms at marketing sessions, office meetings, new member orientations and
other association events.
REALTORS® Active in Politics (RAP)
The RAP program provides a communication link between REALTORS® at the local level and the
Association. RAP Reps are the local eyes and ears in their community and assist with REALTOR® voter
registration efforts, community forums, candidate interviews and monitoring important community issues.

REALTOR® Membership Types
Designated REALTOR® With MLS: This membership type is for members joining either as a managing
broker of a licensed office or as a self-sponsored managing broker.
REALTOR® Member With MLS: This membership type is for members joining as sales people who
want access to the SANDICOR MLS.
REALTOR® Member No MLS: This membership type is for members looking to enjoy the benefits of
REALTOR® Membership without utilizing the MLS.
Secondary Members With or Without MLS: This membership type is for members of other local
REALTOR® associations that would like access to our association and/or SANDICOR MLS.
MLS Only Membership Types
Broker/Appraiser Participant MLS Only: This membership type is for Brokers only wanting SANDICOR
MLS access.
Agent or Appraiser Subscriber MLS Only: This membership type is for agents who work for a broker
with an MLS only membership.
Assistant MLS Only: This membership type is for any assistant working for a REALTOR® or MLS only
Agent.
Specialty Membership Types
Commercial Division Members: This membership type is for agents who want to join the
Commercial Division only. This does not include REALTOR® or MLS membership.
Associated Professional: This membership type is for professionals in the Title, Escrow, Appraisal
and Mortgage industries. This does not include REALTOR® or MLS membership.
Affiliate Members: This membership type is for professionals involved in a business that is supportive
to the real estate industry but do not fall under the Associated Professional category. This does
not include REALTOR® or MLS membership.
