Griggsville, Skinner House
Saturday only from 8 AM until noon. History is on
display here with tours of the Skinner House. Apple
Dumplings will be served but sell fast!
Nebo
Throughout the weekend in Nebo there will be a
petting zoo; pony rides& hay scramble for the kids; fish
sandwiches, homemade apple butter, roast your own
hotdog. Visit The Mercantile in downtown Nebo for
antiques, fall home décor, gift & craft items, yummy
food, apples and pumpkins. Street Dance and Chili
Cook-off Saturday night. See website.
Time
Time offers demonstrations by the Village Blacksmith,
pottery making & wool spinning, horse & buggy
rides. Crafts, t-Shirts, sweatshirts, duck calls, jewelry,
candles & glass etching. At Time you can roast your
own hotdog, have a bowl of chicken n’ noodles, apple
dumplings, porkburgers, hamburgers, fried pickles &
candy bars, ham & beans, homemade pies, roasted
nuts & much more. You are welcome to our Church
Service at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday.

Fishhook
The friendly folks at Fishhook will make your country
outing an enjoyable one. You will find antiques,
collectibles, crafts, and jewelry. This year we have
all kinds of food. Homemade candy, huge bake sale,
biscuits and gravy, vegetable and chili soup, and fish
dinner with fried potatoes, chips, dessert, and drink. Be
sure to check the Memorial site of Robert E. Hughes, The
World’s Largest Man. See you at the End of The Line.
Milton
Look for the welcome booth in the historic bandstand
in the square! Sit awhile and watch Eagle Creek Carving
Company’s chainsaw carving demonstrations. Shop for
crafts, Gifts in a Jar, antiques, collectibles, blankets and
throws, Scentsy, tools, silver & gold rings, jewelry, wildlife
dioramas, and homemade jams & jellies. Don’t forget
to get some of the most delicious homemade pie in Pike
County, available by the slice, whole pies or in personal
mini pie size! Still hungry? Sample homemade pork
rinds, cinnamon roasted pecans, walnuts and almonds,
cotton candy, gourmet cupcakes, chicken and noodles
and blackberry cobbler. All that and much, much more
in Milton!
Pleasant Hill
Commodities: handmade wood items, t-shirts,
Longaberger Baskets, beaded & custom jewelry, art
glass, western apparel, sweatshirts, crotchet items,
purses and wallets, candies, cookies and much
more. Food: Buffalo & Elk sandwiches, pork chops,
ribeyes, fish, barbecue ribs, pulled pork, chicken and
noodles, hamburgers, curly fries, gyros, greek salads,
nachos and cheese, jalapeno poppers, deep fried hot
dogs, and much more, jam and jellies, apples, honey
Hopewell Winery, one half mile west of Summer Hill
will be offering wine and music both days (after noon
on Sunday).

El Dara
The historic village established in 1836, has much
to offer. All activities and vendors are located in
and around the Old General Store, so they’re open
rain or shine. Antiques, collectables, furniture,
books, bracelets, 15” & 18” doll clothing, hand
crafted wood furniture, Scentsy, baked goods, crafts,
candy, pumpkins, squash and gourds, Christmas
arrangements and homemade salsas and relishes.
Food includes homemade chicken and noodles, brats,
kettle corn, barbequed pork and ribs, biscuits and
gravy. Church services at El Dara Christian Church at
10:30 am Sunday. We hope you stop by to visit awhile.
Kinderhook
Soups, sandwiches, and pies available. Welcome
booth downtown also. Kinderhook means “little
children” and the good folks of Kinderhook invite all
of you who are children at heart to join them.
Pittsfield
Pittsfield’s activities center around the beautiful Pike
County Courthouse, over 100 years old. Stop by the
Welcome Booth where you can get a complete listing
of all the vendors in Pittsfield. Bill Beard will be doing
cartoon portraits. Fall produce will be available on
the courthouse lawn, along with a variety of craft and
collectibles items. Bring your appetite to Pittsfield and
come early for breakfast, or join us for lunch. Pittsfield
boasts many Lincoln sites and wayside exhibits. Be
sure to visit Country Fixins Primitives Craft & Antique
Mall (1 mile north of Pittsfield on US 54), The Hen
House (downtown), Eastside Gardens & Bloomers (E.
Washington), and The Picket Fence on W. Washington.
Summer Hill
Summer Hill is featuring vendors in the park again this
year. You will find booths of antiques, collectables,
flea market items and much more. The Painted Horse
Antique Store is now in the former antique mall
building and is full of antique goods, vintage, furniture,
salvage, industrial, architectural, home decor and lots
of cool old junk. This store will be the welcome booth
for Summer Hill. Food, drinks and baked goods are
also available. Enjoy the sights and scents of fall in
Summer Hill!

Detroit
Welcome Booth. Civil War display of Edwin McAllister,
who was the oldest living Civil War Veteran living in
Pike County when he died at 102 years old. Antique
engine display, doll collection (over 2,000), antiques,
collectibles, furniture and books. Bake sale. Wildlife
display, arrowhead display. Breakfast is served, and
lots of food throughout the day.
Hull
Hull Community Center (former school) will be your
host again this year. Great food being served by
the School House Café will include biscuits & gravy,
catfish sandwiches, chili, and ham & beans. There
will be a variety of vendors. The annual All West Pike
Reunion will take place this weekend here too!
Perry
At the Perry Fire House you can shop (rain or shine)
for candles, Christmas crafts, stoneware pottery,
handmade duck decoys, painted turkey feathers, hand
painted ornaments and much more.
Pike County

Baylis
The sponsoring group for Baylis this year will again be the
Baylis Baptist Church on W. 2nd Street with the Welcome
Booth and stamping station. Crafts, soups, sandwiches,
and all sorts of homemade pies and baked goods.
Griggsville
Held at the Western Illinois Fairgrounds along Route
107 on the south side of Griggsville. You’ll find
hand-made crafts, jewelry, tools, clothing, flowers,
blankets, statuary, scentsy, shirts, toys, homemade
jams & jellies & pickles, books, and much more. Food
items include grilled pork chops, ribeyes, and BBQ.
Enjoy some kettle corn, pork rinds, corn dogs, and
lemon shake ups, just to name a few. Demonstrations,
kids’ activities, and a large antique tractor show also
held on site.
Pearl
The first town as you enter Pike County on Rt 100
will have towels, crafts, and their annual collectible
post card (including past years). Fall produce, fish
sandwiches, chicken & noodles, chili, jams & jellies,
apple butter, apple cider and more.
Rockport
While you’re out enjoying the beautiful fall foliage, be
sure to stop by the Village of Rockport along Hwy. 96.
We’re proud to say that we are one of the few spots in
the county where you’ll find nothing but food and crafts
galore! Shop for clothes for that American Girl Doll,
hand crafted jewelry for that special someone, and lots
of other home decor and gifts too. We’ll have sausage
gravy and biscuits for breakfast. For lunch, we have fish
sandwiches, ham & beans with cornbread, chicken &
noodles, chili, and homemade pies for dessert. Don’t
forget to try a bite of Sue’s Homemade Candy and we’ll
have lots of assorted baked goods, including some
gluten free. You can pick up your Halloween pumpkins
and gourds here as well. I

Barry
Sponsored locally by the Barry Business Association,
activities take place in the Historic downtown area
and Lafayette Park. Earlybird Breakfast both days
starting at 7 AM. Welcome Booth at the Barry Thrift
Shop, food and crafts. Local attractions include the
New Philadelphia historic site.
New Hartford
Ackles Farm Market has been located in New Hartford
since 1967. Unique specialty items, Amish chocolate,
bulk candy, pickles, salsas, apple butter, farm fresh
eggs, Wisconsin cheese and fresh vegetables. Bring
the kids and let them visit our Castle and Straw Maze.

The Pike County Fall Color Drive is held the third weekend of October every year since 1988. We have
over 20 participating sites on the Drive each year. The following listing highlights just some of
the various demonstrations and vendors in each town. For more specific information, please visit
our website at www.pikecolordrive.com where you can find the name and phone number of
the Color Drive coordinator for each community. Great food is one of the highlights of Color Drive
Weekend. Many visitors and residents refer to the event as “eat your way across Pike County.” In our
participating towns and other stops you will find everything—from pork, beef, and fish, to chicken
and noodles, baked goods, hot dogs, BBQ, chili, beverages, and other unique food items.
New Canton
Antiques and collectibles, activities throughout the
town. Bake Sale, large fish sandwiches.
