COURSE OUTLINE (3 HOURS)
• Instruction in the Fundamentals of
Handgun Marksmanship and review
of the Four Basic Safety Rules
• Proper Stance, Grip, Sight Alignment,
and Trigger Control
• Anticipation Reflex Interdiction Drills
• Basic Malfunction Drills
• Individual Coaching - Precision Firing
• Rapid-Fire Engagement
This class will lay the foundation for proper handgun
shooting skills, equips the shooter with the skills to
practice proper shooting techniques and eliminates
bad habits.
Requirements
You will need a handgun and 150 rounds of frangible
ammunition which can be purchased at a discounted
rate in 9mm, 40, and 45 caliber for those enrolled in
the class. Bring your own ammo for all other calibers.
Targets, eye and ear protection provided. For you
safety: No tank tops, shorts, or open toe shoes.
