(SSN 765) deploys from Naval Station Norfolk
as part of Harry S. Truman Carrier Strike Group.
ATLANTIC OCEAN (Nov. 6, 2007) – Military Sealift
Command fast combat support ship USNS Arctic (TAOE 8) transits alongside Nimitz-class aircraft carrier
USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75) while preparing for a
replenishment at sea.
ATLANTIC OCEAN (Nov. 6, 2007) - Rough seas
pound the hull of Military Sealift Command fast
combat support ship USNS Arctic (T-AOE 8) as she
sails alongside Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS
Harry S. Truman (CVN 75) while preparing for a
replenishment at sea.
ATLANTIC OCEAN (November 12, 2007) The nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman (CVN
75) transits through the Strait of Gibraltar early in the morning. Truman is en route to the Central Command
area of responsibility as part of the ongoing rotation to support maritime security operations in the region.

perform a multi-ship
maneuvering exercise.

Truman (CVN 75) conducts a test fire of
the rolling airframe missile system (RAM).
RAM uses missiles to shoot down
incoming enemy aircraft.
MEDITERRANEAN SEA (Nov. 17, 2007) An F/A18E Super Hornet, assigned to the "Gunslingers" of
Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 105, fires off a flare
while performing a maneuvering drill during
rehearsals for an air power demonstration for the
Sailors and distinguished visitors of the Nimitz-class
nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS Harry S.

(CVW) 3.
