We believe that social sustainability
has a mportant part for this area.
Nordic living is to reinterpreting
communities and reclaim public space
Studios & Practice Rooms
It is also necessary that the
construction itself is sustainable.
Functionality and architecture must
go up into a higher unity, and lack
of process has too often resulted
in inappropriate approaches where
construction and needs do not go
“hand in hand”. Nevertheless, we
expect that the process will lead to a
good House, “a good alternative, and
a better image for the municipality.

The estimated cost for refurbishment of
the building is set to 15.000 kr. pr. m2.
The estimated cost for building the

A sustainable construction Each function in the diagram above is associated with an area assessment, and as shown there will be consistency among features. In subsequent area budget is a terms of sales needed. It is important to note here that since it has not been possible to talk with the building's future users, this have been estimates. As mentioned in the introduction, there is hinted to take the task, to make the building both structurally and socially sustainable. High importance on that construction should be able to pass an environmental global assessment. Therefore visualized that the building will be further isolated from the outside with façade bats. The foundations are insulated with polystyrene. Ground slabs the same. New low‐energy Windows and ventilation system with heat recovery Environment loads from the building must be minimized. There should, therefore, be looked at in the design:  Choice of Materials  Construction and supply methods  Heating Principles  Indoor Climate  Waste water and waste management Program
