GLADIATORS
The Gladiators Wrestling Club is pleased to announce its winter registration for the
2015-2016 season.
Registration will take place on Tuesday and Thursday, November 17th and 19th in the
Long Beach Middle School Cafeteria, between 6:00pm - 8:00pm.
**Registration must be paid in full**
Coach Rodriguez, Coach Adams, Coach Palacio, Coach Anfossi, Coach Franklin, Coach
Valentin, Coach Piedrahita, and Coach Tigre, together with the Long Beach HS Wrestlers,
will continue to train the Gladiators Elite and Gladiators A Wrestling Teams to enhance the
quality of wrestling in Nassau County and New York State. This team will be for advanced
wrestlers in grades 1 – 8 who would like to improve their wrestling skills in Folkstyle.

The Elite Team will participate in tournaments in the Tri-State Area.
Practice days are Tuesdays and Thursdays (practices and times are subject to
change. Please check the website www.lbgladiators.com for practice & tournament
updates prior to all events). Practices are mandatory.
Parents must provide their own transportation to and from tournaments and we
always travel together. Meeting locations TBA.
In addition to the registration fee, there will be an additional tournament fee for
each tournament plus a coaching fee.
Wrestlers are to attend wrestling tournaments and should be properly equipped
with the Club’s Wrestling Uniform and their own USA Wrestling Card.

This year, we will be continuing the tutoring component that will offer small group
instruction and HW help during practice times. Wrestlers will be able to sign up on a
weekly basis. This will take place during alternate practice sessions.
To take advantage of this academic component, please see Marissa on the day of Gladiator
registration. It is a pay-as-you-go program and will be $20 per session.
