What you will need:
1
Multi-Purpose Cleaner.
2
Glass and Chrome Cleaner.
Cut down on the amount of products required to clean your
apartment building. The use of Excelsior as a hard surface and neutral
cleaner will not only reduce your chemical inventory but will provide
you with the cleaning results you strive for. It is also very good for
removing salt stains. Film Away is also a recommended product.
Keep your windows, chrome and stainless steel sparkling clean
and streak free, using products such as Azure, Expo, Saphire
and Magic.
C
Complementary Equipment.
In the lobby, auto-scrubbers such as the Hurricane
450 XTT are ideal for cleaning floors. In one pass,
they can dispense a cleaning solution, scrub the
floor and then vacuum it all up.
Did you

Why the Dustbane Way?

With simple yet effective cleaning solutions, we help make apartment and condo
buildings safe, healthy and enjoyable places for tenants.

What you will need:
C
Complementary Equipment.
The use of a floor machine allows you to complete
the assignment in a few hours, as opposed to days
if done by hand. A wet pick up vacuum, such as the
Targa 990, can quickly take care of wet surfaces and
prevent slips and falls.
3
Floor Stripper.
4
Floor Sealer.
Floors must be periodically stripped and re-waxed
to ensure a safe surface. Using a floor stripper like Time-Out
Plus will cut through layers of floor finish and sealer quickly
and efficiently, with no fumes or odours. Another
recommended product for this task is Formula-1.
Floor sealers, such as Foundation, can provide a real advantage
when used on older, more porous tile. They provide a smooth
and even surface for the floor finish. Foundation and Gard
offer a total sealer protection for your floors.
5
Floor Finish.
The primary function of a floor finish is to provide
a durable, safe, clean and attractive surface. Orbit,
with its high solid content, builds the required film
thickness with fewer coats to achieve the same
appearance as other finishes. Another great option
is Gran-Prix XL.
Hallway Cleaning Guide
Leave a good impression.
Like any other area in your building, the appearance of the hallway is important. Guests may base their opinion on the quality
of a building by the appearance of the hallways. Proper attention to the small details gives a positive impression.

2
Carpet Cleaner and Stain Remover.
Cut down on the amount of products required to clean
your office building. The use of Excelsior as a hard surface
and neutral cleaner will not only reduce your chemical inventory
but will provide you with the cleaning results you strive for.
Deep cleaning carpets helps prolong the overall life
of a carpet. Vacuuming alone is not enough to remove dirt and
allergens. A deep cleaning of carpets and upholstery using EcoExpert will leave the space smelling fresh.
3
Deodorizer.
Continued use of Bio-Bac II provides a safe and
efficient way to maintain clean, sanitary and odour
free surfaces. The “people friendly” bacteria keep
on working long after Bio-Bac II’s initial application.
C
Complementary Products.
Carpet extractors provide deep cleaning
of the carpets therefore promoting a
healthier environment. Dustbane’s carpet
extractors deliver fast and professional results
with minimal efforts.
Living Room Cleaning Guide
For clean living!
The living room is generally the room where the most time is spent by the residents of any household. It’s also usually the first room seen
when entering an apartment, so having a clean living room is important to give a good first impression.

Malodour and unpleasant odours can be an issue for potential
or future tenants. The use of a malodour counteractant such as
Disappear can quickly take care of unwanted smells from pets
and cigarettes. Other recommended products are Air Freshener
and Citrus Air.
Kitchen Area Cleaning Guide
Is your kitchen as clean as it could be?
The kitchen can be one of the messiest places in an apartment. Tables, counters and appliances can get filthy and unsanitary for the
next tenant. Cleaning all surfaces and and making them germ-free for the next tenant is crucial for the health of all concerned. It is
imperative that this space is kept clean and sanitary.

Washroom Cleaning Guide
Keeping the washroom clean is easier than you think!
Our senses are always on alert - the first impression they get of any environment is often the most important one. Visible cleanliness

Janitor Closet Cleaning Guide
For clean living!
The janitor closet is where all the cleaning supplies are stored. So doesn’t it make sense that it should be a clean room itself? Having
a clean closet room will ensure that the supplies are kept in better condition, and will result in better overall results throughout
the building.

Quick Tip - The Dustbane Need-to-Know Analysis Survey.
Every establishment has different needs when it comes to maintenance. Properly understanding those
needs allows us to offer the best, most efficient and cost effective cleaning solution. Take a look at our
quick and easy survey that will help pin point the client’s specific needs. See back page for details.
Pool/Gym Cleaning Guide
Cleanliness that leads to better health!
Gyms are facilities that require an important focus on surface cleanliness. Tenants want a clean, sanitized, welcoming gym. No one
wants to use a sweat covered machine. The pool area can also easily get messy and slippery because of the water, so it is imperative
to have a solid cleaning plan for it. Maintaining a sanitized environment will also help prevent the spread of germs and viruses.

Diluting Quat Plus in a ready to use bottle
and having it readily available for gym users
is a great way to provide a clean, pleasant
smelling, and germ-free environment while
they workout.
Quat Plus kills germs on surfaces and objects offering
the performance of a neutral quat that eliminates
malodour by destroying a wide range of bacteria,
fungicide and viruses without the harsh smell of
chemicals. Other suggested products are Vangard and
Quatromyicide II.
Keep your mirrors, chrome and stainless steel sparkling
clean and streak free, using products such as Azure,
Expo, Saphire and Magic.
3
Air Renewal System.
An air renewal system will neutralize airborne odours throughout
the room. The suggested products are F-Matic ONE, F-Matic,
DoorMate or Citrus Air.
Cost Effective Cleaning
Dilution systems that leave you with more in your pockets!
Stop guessing when it comes to diluting chemicals. Chemical proportioners dilute to the correct ratio every time, regardless
of the water pressure. See the cost savings add up and say goodbye to chemical waste. By using the proper dilution, you can easily
know how much product is going to be used in a given amount of time, allowing you to lock in costs on your budget.
Enviro Flex Proportioner
Can be configured with 2 (1 gpm)
+ 2 (4 gpm) or 3 (1 gpm) + 1 (4 gpm), allowing
for product and application flexibility to
customize the system to your needs.
Eco Easy Fill
Dilution rates are color coded for easy
identification. 5 options are available:
Grey: 1:256
White: 1:10
Yellow: 1:40
Blue: 1:80
Green: 1:120
Spray Bottles
Reusable spray bottles are inexpensive
and readily available. They are a great
solution for diluted chemicals.
EASY AS 1-2-3!
Easy to use and set up.
Enviro Flex: Installs in just a few minutes.
Eco Easy Fill: Just insert the straw into the container, screw on the Eco Easy Fill dispenser
then connect to a water supply.
SAFE
Safety through the integrity of the system in preventing leakage and exposure. Designed
to simplify work and eliminate spills that can be dangerous to the user.
$
COST EFFECTIVE
Dilution control is the most cost-effective use of chemical concentrates. Diluting your own
chemical is less costly than buying ready-to-use products.
Safety comes first!
A basic level of personal protective equipment (PPE) should be used when handling concentrated
chemicals. Protecting yourself from cleaning chemicals will keep you efficient and safe.
