On 4th November, we hosted The
Albany Rifle Club for a teams match in
lever-action shooting, which resulted in' a
field of 32 competitors for the day. We
led the visiting team by 211 points over
the 8 members to count, with 194,7
to 1736, but once again, top off
rifle was held by a visitor when Ian
points
Ferguson totalled 26bl300 over the full
programme of precision, Running Boar.
Timed and Rapidfire.
Congratulations to Ron Paterson on
the 1972 Precision Fire Record
with an excellent 98/100.

Greg Davis, a Junior member, led the
first stage of the November Trophy Shoot
with 317 on handicap, while Ron
Paterson again held top score with
289/3 00.
This years champion rifleman is now
established as Kevin Coughlan, who leads
last years winner, David Holland, with
2820 points to 2762 points. We have one
shoot left to count for annual awards this
year. The handicap aggregate will be
decided between Peter Martin with 3092,
Del Dowsett 3088, Clive Darby 3074 and
Ron Paterson 3074.
