The festive season is around the corner and the whole
Sound Corporation staff is busy in the run-up to Christmas.
The last few months have been filled with major events.
These include, first and foremost, the completion of the XTreme website. Now it’s the turn of Peecker sound, to be
revamped with the addition of the new products currently
being tested and to be introduced at the Frankfurt Exhibition.
The second event is the consolidation of the partnership
between Sound Corporation and I Teatri Foundation of
Reggio Emilia, involving an important supply of Audio Systems for the “Certe Notti” ballet, with the cooperation between ATERBALLETTO, an internationally renowned institution based in Reggio Emilia, and Luciano Ligabue, a genuine
icon of Italian rock. Moreover, X-Treme was chosen as the
Audio System supplier for the Fonderia, home to the prestigious ATERBALLETTO dance company, in particular the main
room called “Piazza”.
The third event is the sound system installation for an important Rugby match at the Giglio Stadium in Reggio Emilia.
Last but not least is the realization of the Vanilla Disco in
Timisoara, Romania, and the Perfidia Disco in Viterbo, Italy.
You’ll find all the details of these events in the subsequent
pages.
I’d like to take this opportunity, in the name of the whole
Sound Corporation staff and Management Office, to send you my best Christmas greetings and wish you a dynamic beginning of 2010, as it is only through strong motivation that we can make the best of the ongoing crisis and play a prominent role
in the economic recovery.

Rugby at the Giglio Stadium
Sound Quakes in Naples
The rugby match which took place on December 9th at the
Giglio Stadium sparked off a wave of infectious enthusiasm

X-Treme dances...with Luciano Ligabue
Aterballetto, the leading contemporary dance company in Italy celebrated its thirty years on stage by transposing Luciano
Ligabue’s music and lyrics into dance. The author of the choreography is Mauro Bigonzetti, one of the most renowned artists
in international contemporary dance.
In the context of its cooperation with I Teatri Foundation of Reggio Emilia, Sound Corporation supplied a customized system,
following the instructions of ATERBALLETTO sound engineer Alessandro Grisendi, who designed a system made up of 4
XTMLA and 2 XTS per side. The audio material consisted of poems recited by the rocker from Correggio, electronic compositions, live songs and dialogues taken from the movie “Radiofreccia”, so the system had to be able to reproduce transparently
very heterogeneous audio sources. Thanks to the success of this show, whose three repeat performances were fully booked,
we can certainly say: “Mission accomplished!”. Info: www.aterballetto.it
Installations
Two great clubs were constructed using exclusively Sound
Corporation systems: Perfidia, in Viterbo, Italy (picture on the
right) and Vanilla in Timisoara, Romania (picture below), following its Swiss big brother, Vanilla.
Perfidia, together with Theatrò and Imperiale, belongs to a trio
of Discos in the Rome area, realized by Sound Corporation.
This elegant and sophisticated club has three theme halls and
a VIP lounge. Obviously Sound Corporation arranged the
sound systems in all the rooms, with the most suitable loudspeakers for every context: 4 powerful XTD1015 and 4
XTHPS36 for the main dance floor, and 8 XTDS15, 4 XTD12, 24 4010MH, and 10 XTD88 for the sound delivery and the other
halls. Info: www.perfidiaclub.it
Vanilla has one of the world’s most advanced audio and lighting systems, an extraordinary interior design studied in minute
detail, and three independent dance floors. Among the prominent personalities who managed the DJ consoles are International celebrities such as Bob Sinclar, Eric Morillo, Eric Prydz, Benni Benassi, David Vendetta, Laurent Wolf, Martin Solveig
and many others. Sound Corporation is Vanilla’s official supplier and has installed a massive system made up of 16 XTMLA,
4 XTCARDIOD, 8 XTS, 10 XTD88, 8 4008 and 2 XTMON12, with switching technology and analogic amplification. This installation follows in the steps of the one supplied to the Swiss disco by the same name, proving that “once you’ve tried Sound
Corporation... you’ll never change!”. Info: www.vanillaclub.ro
