need to host a winning Hunger Games event for fans of all ages.

How to Have a Winning Event
Promote the event by advertising in your store newsletter and on your website.
After filling in the required information, copy the invitation Reproducible A or B.
Hand out these invitations, keep them next to the register, and/or send them to people
on your mailing list.
Use the Store Event Sign Reproducible C or D in addition to the invitation. Hang it
next to the register or in your store window.
Let the Games Begin!
Print up a supply of the activity sheets and answer keys (Reproducibles E–G) and
make sure to have enough pencils or pens on hand. Activities include:
“In the Arena” Crossword Puzzle
Use Reproducible E to challenge your guests on how well they remember the people,
places, and things from the Hunger Games arena.
Word Hunt
Using Reproducible F, see how fast guests can find all the words in the puzzle.
The hunger Games Trivia challenge
Fans can test how much they remember about the first two books by taking the trivia
challenge on Reproducible G. You can even have the guests play as teams by dividing
them into the 12 Districts.
The Final chapter
Before the Mockingjay release date, discuss with fans what they predict will happen
at the end of the book.
After everyone has read Mockingjay, discuss the book as a group. Encourage fans to
debate what happens at the end. Is this what they expected? If they could write an
alternate ending, what would it be?
