Uisneach traditional games AreNa
All Workshops are Free to Festival Goers.
This will be an interactive arena in Tír na nóg where children will be able to participate in an array of traditional games such
as egg and spoon races, 3 legged races, sack races and hobby horse races. Banner games will have a selection of giant games
that children can partake in, these include giant ker-plunk, connect four, Jenga, draughts and snakes and ladders. These games
will run from 14:30-18:30. Lir archery will be there to give people a taste of archery on the day (small charge going directly to
the Mullingar club who have kindly organised this demonstration today). We also have a traditional Tír na nóg stage specially
dedicated to children’s entertainment.
