Parish Mission Statement
The Roman Catholic Family of Blessed Teresa
of Calcutta Parish recognizes the importance
of following in the footsteps of our patroness
in sharing our time, talent and treasure.
Through ordinary and simple actions, we strive
to teach and spread the Catholic faith, leading
all to know God in a personal and loving way.
In the celebration of the Eucharist, the parish
community receives energy to care for the
needs of all people through acts of kindness
and love.
Dear Parishioners,
As we celebrate this Feast of Corpus Christi, we hear the
Gospel proclaimed of the loaves and the fishes. This
parable gives us the reminder that Jesus in the Eucharist
can address the hungers and needs of our daily lives.
Though we receive Jesus here in Church this weekend,
His presence is with us strengthening and guiding us
throughout the week.
Fr. Brandt
The beginning of Christianity is the giving. God so
loves us that He gave His own Son. Jesus took bread,
the simplest of foods, and He made that bread into His
body. He made Himself the living Bread to satisfy our
hunger for God.
