The arena is situated on two floors:
 The lower level consists of loading and unloading, prop storage, the contest floor, entrances
and exits for the contest floor, and first aid.
 The walk-in level consists of performance check in, body and equipment warm up, ticket
office, entrances for spectators and nonperforming color guards.

Parking at Miami University is very strict. Please instruct those traveling with you to park only in the
designated WGI Spectator Parking area. There is a $5 per vehicle parking fee. Each color guard will
be allotted 3 parking passes. See maps for details and traffic flow.

There are no dressing facilities available. Please arrive at the arena in competitive attire.

The mixing board for the sound system and the sound person will be located on the front side of the
performance arena. The WGI sound person will have control of the level of sound. See contest info
packet for sound check times.

Music is NOT permitted in either both body or equipment warm up as sound travels to the performance
floor.

A black drape will adorn the back and sides wall of the competiton area.

The floor is concrete. A black tarp will cover the entire competition area.

The competition area is 106’ X 72’. Please see the floor plan for more details.

An electrical outlet will be available at the front and back side line.

Height of the facility is more than adequate.

Please report to Performance Check In no earlier than your listed report time. Performance Check In
times are listed in the logistical schedule.
REMINDER - Your color guard MUST check in at Championship Headquarters (Boesch
Lounge, UD Arena) prior to your performance at the Millett Hall to pick up all contest
material. Those color guards who do not check in at Championship Headquarters may
be denied entrance to the facility.
